Wow, James... not only did you dissect that game with style (and leave all of the OVER 6000! submission fans in stitches), but you did it with some of the most awesome fan quotes ever! The fact that you cussed in German kicks seven different shades of ass all on its own!
Just a shame you didn't use any of mine, but that's just splitting hairs. *isolates Deadly Towers from the rest of ScrewAttack, then blackholes the game by dividing it by zero*

This was an interesting little experiment, but I didn't like it. Because James picked a comment here and there, it didn't sound natural. Rather, it was a choppy curse-fest, especially towards the end. It didn't flow smoothly from one point to another.
I don't know if someone at Urban Dictionary got confused or if the English word Ludder really exists, but in the German language there's the word "Luder" (with one D), which basically means cheap-ass hoe.
Did ANY of the 6500 people who sent emails actually get far in the game?
I played on an emulator with save states to be able to get further(not paying any money for that piece of shit), and if you don't touch that invisible path that sends you to the unescapable labyrinth, you can actually get boss fights(which are lame), which send you on the way to find the "Hell's Bells", on the most tedious paths ever(the 2 paths i went on were copy-pasted). Only managed to get 2 of said bells, before getting frustrated over that horrible game.
Overall the most important issues of the game were addressed(stupid weapon, enemeis take too many hits, ledges, moving back when hit, hard to know where you are...), but it's surprising that no one actually mentionned boss fights and the actual bells you had to find.
And of course the review wasn't as good as other AVGN reviews, but it was a nice "present" to the fans nonetheless.

To be honest, we Germans don't seem to be very creative when it comes down to swear about a game. "Dieses Spiel ist scheiße" (this game sucks) is quite overused.
But "Dieses Spiel fickt dich härter als das Leben" (this game fucks you harder than life itself). OMG! That's awesome! And I've never heard it before. Can't wait to use it myself XD !

man whoever searched for the definition of ludder deserves a medal cause i just about fell out of my chair laughing. And as for the German quotes? simple genious, also i think james said them pretty well too.
i never did get to send in an e-mail to add my two cents in this game since i realized alot of the things i thought about the game were generic and already mentioned in the video. but i will say this there's alot of qualities in this review that make me wanna just keep watching it for the laughs... i think i'll go watch it again!

It's nice for James to find a way to give back to the fans and recognizes us as the ones who basically make his work fun. The ones who tune in to every episode, grab their hammer & sickle, and join the revolution of saying, "NO! I will NOT play that craptastic game!"

i thought that this episode is absolutely hilarious it was something really out of this world,the peoples comments in your mouth is a great feature.you should use your time and read other people's comments to use in your shows.this was a excellent idea putting other people's comments in and putting them to the test.also what was that you said in german and also can you translate to english.thanks

It seemed like he was reading out a dictionary of swear words and didnt go into the game with enough detail to make it convincing that its anywhere near that bad
