We all know that wikipedia knows everything about everything. Hell, look at our wikipedia page. That thing 100% accurate and full of facts. Sarcasm aside the Monty Python game that Guru Larry touches on this week is so rare that there's not even a wiki page about it. According to Larry this game is produced by Core Design, the same team that created Tomb Raider. All you fans of Ms. Croft can see just how far they came.
You've never heard of MP? How's that possible? You're either like 5 years old, live on an isolated island in the south Pacific, or you play WAY too many video games. Look them up on youtube, or rent on of their movies like Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life, Life of Brian, or Now for Something Completely Different.

There is a Holy Grail game but its one of those crappy educate games. You basically went around as a knight and answered questions from people. I'm sure it was just monty python selling there name for some money...

You don't have the enough brains to see the spcetacular ending of this game- that line just pissed me off , at least I will never play it. That was a hell of a rare game , and weird review, and was the video edited wrong on purpose or was a mistake?

the bosses were crazy, a man shooting bullets all over the place!!! holy ass, wouldnt know if i could play it now. but back then i couldnt even pass the 1st level, that or i'm such a n00b XD i think its the 2nd reason. XDDD
and is it me or did the video somehow screw up somewhere on the intro and end?

A majority of people who come here are probably unfamiliar with monty python, a very sad fact. What makes it worse is most people now a days consider complete garbage like ’epic movie’ or ‘meet the Spartans’ or the doomed to suck the big one ’disaster movie’To be comedy gold.
oh well, at lest that movie got its name right. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a class to attend to about self defense. Hopefully they can tell me what to do incase the attacker has a pointed stick!

What I should have done was be more in-depth about what I meant. for one thing since Monty python being very vintage and appealing to certain fan bases. Its humor is somewhat lost, or unappealing to the younger audiences. Adding on to that. many people for some god forsaken reason find those movies not only funny but are considered comedic gold compared to stuff like or similar to British humor. And that’s what irks me. Keep in mind I don’t think like that about the entire G1 community. I should have corrected my self before hand.

The game isn't terrible by any means, for an 80's non-console platform game, its actually pretty good, apart from the unfair enemy attacks and really annoying way the screen scrolls (if you noticed that in the video).
It's one of those games that I had fond memories of (also wishing that I could play it on a better computer like an Amiga - I played it on an Amstrad as a kid), that and the Viz game released around the same time.

He wrote this, the Shenmue one, and Mad Dog McCree (as well as a lot of the future episodes). Theres also a couple we co-wrote like Art Alive, Monty on the Run,Twisted, Bubsy, Final Fight and Link (theres also a few of the other early ones) we mainly did separate ones because of time constraints.
I've only just started putting his up because, i've only just managed to get access to his footage after we had to dump a load from our Xdrive servers and Wez's HDD blew up, so luckily he found a load on a DVD recently.
Who would have thought that there was a MP game. No idea at all. Its a shame that it doesnt look that good, and the humor, at least in the moments that Larry showed isnt that present.

What a terrible game to represent the Monty Python Series. I barely could recognize any characters from the show and the screen scrolling effect nearly killed me.
As an American it is hard for me to appreciate the commentary as Europeans may but nobody can argue that overall it was extremely British humor (obivously). The Spanish Inquisition was mentioned a few too many times, lol but all in all an alright video.
I haven't seen the other ScrewAttack European videos but I imagine that the comedy and voices vary a little bit.
After having seen this review, I do believe it is time to watch Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, The Life of Brian or maybe the Meaning of Life.

To me, Python was very hit or miss. But, to each his own and I respect that.
