Ya you cant just get a beta for such a hyped and popular game that easily. The beta is handed out to people that have made an account and have the original starcraft game. when they begin to give out the betas then they'll send it to account users. at least i think so. hope this helped

WOW! I just watched the 1st ever Hard News episode before I watched this one. There has been tremendous improvements in the production value and Destin's delivery in (almost) 1 whole year. Here's to another 30 years of HARD NEWS!

As much as I envy the X360 (yes, I do envy it) and I would like to rub the PS3 demo to the 360 users face, it wouldn't be fair to have a PSN exclusive demo. Only the PS3 is getting FFXIII and vs XIII, so why not share the demo to those without a PS3?

I'm not positive, but I think you could fit every other Final Fantasy game on 5 gigs...at least through XI or so.
I'm getting old. I remember getting my first laptop right after college and oredering a 1 gig hard drive. My buddy was like, "A Gig!?!? That's HUGE! What the hell are you going to do with a gig?!?"

When I was younger, I convinced my parents to upgrade our PC with 540 MB hard drive. "We'll never need more disk space!" And then the CD-ROM came out. Oops. ^_^
5GB isn't that bad, though let's not forget that on PSN the publisher pays per GB downloaded (whereas XBL is supported by the annual player fees). I wonder if that would make them less likely to do it.

Seem as ridiculous as saying releasing Fallout 3 DLC for Xbox and PC is unfair to the PS3, or releasing Rare titles that were on the 64 through Xbox is unfair to Nintendo and their fans. Looks like revenue can even make fanboys out of producers. It's interesting to see Ghostbusters go the other way though. But what's a couple of days?
I'm in Australia, so even if that demo was released it would take about 6 hours to download and use up 1/5 of my bandwidth. Man, we suck.

Not too excited about any of those games save for FFXIII. Ghostbusters won't be that good, we all know it. Disappointing. And I'm not really into RTS's, so Starcraft is out of the picture. (And before all of you fan boy bitches try to yell at me, I'm just saying that it's not my cup of tea, it's a great game.)
Anyway, I want that demo for FFXIII.

I guess Squenix still has some power in the land of the rising sun. They certainly have lost their touch in most Western Gamers eyes. I still have a lot of hope (and anticipation) for FFXIII.
