I originally thought Spore 1 was going to be a revamping of E.V.O evolution (snes game...2D platformer, story driven, and creature control) Look it up, it was fun). I was a little disppointed that spore 1 wasn't that...only better and more expansive. But this sound's more like it. After shelling out that much $$$ for the computer game, and only playing for a few month's, I think I'll give this one a try. ((Rental this time however)).

I'd say the major difference between the Wii's WiiMotion+ and Sega Genesis' 32X and SegaCD is that the Wii desperately needs the add-on to live up to its gameplay innovation promises. If it works, it will be an innovation for all gaming. Wheras if the SegaCD worked... well, PCs had already done CD-based games. And they should have just made a better next system, too. Or improved the quality of the 32X and SegaCD and attracted more support...

This year went pretty fast. Congratulations Destin. Being the coolest News host in the world is pretty rad. And Jose too, for his occasional appearances.
Red Steel 2 actually looks interesting. I think that comparing the Motion Plus with 32X was a little hardcore, though.
I wouldn't be so surprised if Spore Hero was what we expected. Not after Lego Guitar Hero.
And too bad I don't have a Wii. Contra ReBirth (is) looks badass. You can't go wrong with a Spreader.

Damn, Craig was enthusiastic, I feel sorry for Destin's eardrums!!!! Well, once again, I don't have many hopes for Red Steel 2, it looks like it will be just as disappointing as the first, although I've never had an experience with the Wii motion plus, the Spore Hero joke was awesome!

I think the WM+ will be much more successful than the 32X if only because it will be bundled with other games by the time Red Steel 2 come out. I also wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo and other developers use the WM+ as the standard for the Wii from this point on.
