I'm kind of disappointed. I honestly don't think a feature like GOT fits SA.
Also disappointed that Bethesda is going to make something for the Wii, after the massive success of FO3, I was hoping they'd finally give Elder Scroll fans something new to play. Oblivion just didn't have the staying power of Morrowind.

I already own a Japanese copy of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, however I've had to play it on a friend's modified Wii in order to play it. I'll be more pleased to play a version of the game that I can actually PLAY on a regular basis in my own home.

To overthinker. Personally I wasn't fond of his reviews here or on The escapist but what one person wants doesnt matter. It's what the community wants and their voices were heard. So once again, congrats, maybe you'll grow on me.
First, let me say this - I am a huge fan of the Game Overthinker. I find his relatively serious, intellectual videos to be a rather refreshing twist on the old classic of "game ranter". I have all of his videos on a playlist on YouTube that I listen to constantly whenever I'm doing something close to but not with my computer. That being said, I'm not entirely sure if I want him to win the entire competition.
Now admittedly the main reasons I believe this are mostly for selfish reasons. Should the Overthinker win, he would become a part of the ScrewAttack family, and invariably would increase how many people view his videos by a wide margin. However even if he loses, that will not stop him from making Overthinker episodes for the fans that he already has. If he loses, in the end it is a loss for ScrewAttack and the Overthinker, but not for the Overthinker's existing fans, who can and will continue to watch his videos no matter where they are posted.
On the other hand, some of the movies that have made it to the final 8 do not have the existing fan base that the Overthinker already has. In addition, without being a part of the ScrewAttack family, they might not have the motivation to post new installments to their series on a regular basis. By having them win instead, we may get a greater deluge of awesome content at a rate that would not be the same should the Game Overthinker win. For the fans, that may be the lesser of two evils.
I really am sad that Rockumentary lost this round, even if it meant the Game Overthinker got to move on. Out of the four videos I've seen thus far, it was the one that entertained me the most. (Sorry Moviebob. I think your choice of episode to show wasn't the best you could have made. I think showing off something like episode seven would have gotten a stronger intellectual or at least emotional pull from the people who are on the fence of your series. Sure it was a great episode, but the overuse of squirrel-voice kind of made it one of the weaker of your shows thus far.) I know that one of the reasons it went down was because it had to compete against something with an established fanbase. I believe it would have fared much better if it had gone up against the previous two videos. I still don't think the winner of the first week has enough material to keep his stuff fresh. It's kind of like Powerthirst. It's awesome once or twice, but you can't really follow it up with anything of substance. I honestly hope I am proven wrong. I wish nothing but the best for ScrewAttack.
In retrospect, especially after reading some comments under the Game Overthinker, I finally came to realize how polarizing his videos can be. Some people can find the videos to be a bit "preachy", or simply are not entertained due to the relatively low amounts of humor. That's not to say that the people who disliked the video were idiots who did not desire the intellectual stimulation that I feel Moviebob's series offers. Rather I think that plenty gravitated to what they found more to their tastes. The majority of people on this site are more likely to watch Comedy Central or Adult Swim rather than the History channel for a similar reason - they watch what they find more entertaining. While I find Moviebob's videos to be fresh and innovative, there are plenty who will simply not be entertained by the style.
I guess my whole point here is that while I would love to see my favorite series from YouTube become an official part of my favorite gaming website, I will not be entirely disappointed if this is not to be. I wish Moviebob and the rest of the remaining competitors the best of luck in the weeks to come.

given the choice between the winners so far, i would gladly take the game overthinker over some crappy adult swim show rip off. The game overthinker isnt bad, i just think hes a little dry at times, doesnt seem to be SA's style. im just hoping for some better options(go psycotaku!)

anyway, as for the competition in itself, I honestly don't think either one of the finalists would be a particularly good screw attack addition. Screw attack in itself is more of an entertainment medium and (however interesting, informational, and sometimes controvertial as game over thinker is) I don't think it really fits in with what most find "entertaining". on the other hand, killaboy, and Rockumentory both were verry humorous, and didn't even need to be watched all the way through to understand, or think they were funny. The reason I don't find killaboy a particularly good choice either, is that unlike the other humorous entry (Rockumentory) there isn't much chance in expansion, and the only likely thing (if the show is actually continueing the killaboy game... thing) is either going through "story mode" or just making a sequel, one of wich is already similar to a show already in progress (LIAG) and the other would get a bit tired after one or two more. There is a third option for videos that killaboy (no, I don't remember the persons name who made it...) could do wich would be make random videos and stuff, but that wouldn't be what the people had voted for, and while it still has potential to be funny depending on how well they turn out, people could still argue this fact.

given the choice between the winners so far, i would gladly take the game overthinker over some crappy adult swim show rip off. The game overthinker isnt bad, i just think hes a little dry at times, doesnt seem to be SA's style. im just hoping for some better options(go psycotaku!)

wha... adult swim rip off...? what exactly is killaboy ripping off? I don't take offence to you making this statement, but I'm honestly confused...
anyway, as for the competition in itself, I honestly don't think either one of the finalists would be a particularly good screw attack addition. Screw attack in itself is more of an entertainment medium and (however interesting, informational, and sometimes controvertial as game over thinker is) I don't think it really fits in with what most find "entertaining". on the other hand, killaboy, and Rockumentory both were verry humorous, and didn't even need to be watched all the way through to understand, or think they were funny. The reason I don't find killaboy a particularly good choice either, is that unlike the other humorous entry (Rockumentory) there isn't much chance in expansion, and the only likely thing (if the show is actually continueing the killaboy game... thing) is either going through "story mode" or just making a sequel, one of wich is already similar to a show already in progress (LIAG) and the other would get a bit tired after one or two more. There is a third option for videos that killaboy (no, I don't remember the persons name who made it...) could do wich would be make random videos and stuff, but that wouldn't be what the people had voted for, and while it still has potential to be funny depending on how well they turn out, people could still argue this fact.
