Wait so we cant download stuff on pirate bay anymore unless its legal? does that mean that we wont only be able to download the usual torrents we download like movies and series saving u important money for games?

Good thing UC 2 will be an option, Perhaps if it comes with more memory at base I may seriously be considering buying it.

If this true, it's fantastic news, Ive not really played all the best titles for this PS2 dispite haivng a PS2. I might pick them up early though, before it's announced. No doubt eBayers will hike prices if it turns out to be true, especially for games like ico and Shadow of the Coloussus.

in the video the guy says "you can shoot people in the face" but if the game title is MadBalls then, that means "U can shoot people in the Balls" Ouch. lol.

dont talk shit about piratebay when you dont know what youre talking about. piratebay works excactly the same way google and and any other search site works. so going legit means that you have to pay for your searches. thats like if you had to pay a dollar every time you wanted to do a search on google

About time sony started to bring back ps2 compatibility to the ps3. Now sale might get high once again.

After all that tough talk TBP the truth is clear. They just wanted the money, and their talk of fighting for the little man was only as good as they did not get into real trouble. I always knew this, but I find it funny how the internet has exploded with shock and awe about it.

Now they are in trouble, the money flow slowed, and since a offer came up they ran for the hills. I can not blame them. All the suckers who think people make sites that have a profit angle, only do things out of the goodness of their heart are fooling themselves. They do it for money, and some like SA do it while working hard and having fun.

A legit torrent site is a joke. People use torrents almost solely for illegal downloads. People will deny it, and they are lying. If they believe it then they are lying to themselves. The extreme minority are using torrents for legit reasons. The rest are using it to pirate PC games, music, movies, and programs. They want free stuff, and that is that. TPB going legit only means the Internet will just move on to the next site.

So essentially TPB has been shut down, and another torrent site will "fight for the little man". Which just means, "Steal all you want. Just buy our T-Shirts, and click on our ads!!"

Oh, and for those who think I am just bashing pirates I have sailed the seas a few times myself. I care less if you hate pirating, or support it. That is your business. I am just commenting on how people are reacting to the news on many sites, and the concept of a legit torrent site.

Not just the 60 gig PS3 has backwards compatibility...

I traded my PS2 for credit to my PS3. When I learned that my 40GB was not backwards compatible, I wept for a brief moment and went on to trade in my PS2 library...boy do I feel silly right about now.

...wrong hole dumbass...hehe

This might be the thing to turn the tide for Sony!

It's sad day to torrent world. :( But the pirate fight continues! They were good for sharing culture and now money hungry bastards from Hollywood thank them with 1 year of jail and ridiculously big fine. Srsly, rapers and people that have beaten people to hospital for couple of months get less jail time than the pirate bay guys.

That would FINALLY sell it to me. My secondhand PS2 is really iffy, and won't even run PS1 games, so this would be totally freakin awesome.
