good old Admiral Ackbar. i recently starting watching x-play again, and it's not the same as it used to be. yes, they still have Adam and morgan. but the main gaming and humor that used to be a MEGA mash up of greatness is now gone. i haven't seen alot of the old characters that were so awesome a couple of years ago, but it's nice to the hosts still hanging on. i was watching the show waaayyyy back when it was on techtv. its a reminded of the good old days. as for it being an hour? i dont like that TOO much. if they stretch out their content too thin , than x-play is going have to really stretch for material.

Starcraft 2 is my #1 most anticipated title in the next few years. I've been waiting for it since I got done with the original so many years ago. I'm not surprised it is coming out in 2009 rather than 2008 as some stores predicted, as I have been a long time Blizzard fan and know of their development times. I'd guess maybe Summer of 09.
About X-play - Hell, I wouldn't mind a half hour long hardnews if all of SA's people were involved and included reviews. It would be better than X-play, no doubt.
Destin made a good point about the craptastic jokes and flashbacks.

I miss the old x-play. It's just not the same anymore, but i am somewhat glad for the hour segment, so they won't have to try to put all that stuff into a half an hour with 3 commercial breaks. I remember when they JUST did reviews and skits (i don't care what you say, those skits were awesome), but now they have the feed which should be by itself, or in aots, and cheat, which should be on cheat-the show. In fact, when was the last time they reviewed a game, or made a joke or skit? Too long, that's how long.
and also, mirrors edge and resistance 2 will be awesome. period.
AND i would SO watch hard news for an hour, hard news is my favorite thing on screwattack, and definitely in my top ten favorite web shows. You guys should have a TV channel lol, i'd watch it more than g4. Seriously.

x-play have gone down the toliet when it start adding too much stuff other than reviews, all they do now is previews,answer a fan, and "special"episodes dedicated to good games (i.e: madden games,GTA, and mario) it's a shame cause g4 was a cool channel, until then took judgement day,icons(when they talk about video games, not half ass people in movies and tv shows)and (strange to say)Arena. all it is now is a cheap knockoff of Spike.

yea the new xplay sucks maybe now the can do more reveiwes and more skits intsted of the other stuff they got now. Also G4 sucks now the only show worth watching is attack of the show and code monkeys. WTF happend to G4 seriously!!!
I think the show might be better that way, actually. A lot of their segments seem short and rushed. With more time they may be able to go into more detail about stuff and actually keep me interested, instead of rushing by with dumb jokes every two seconds.
Nice I am kinda glad to see them bash on X-Play... or more like overplayed, I used to love that show, but man I could never stand a whole hour of not even before G4 took over. Oh well like I said yay they bashed them on my Birthday!

X-Play quit making jokes. Now it's more serious and informative. The reviews still have some cheesy jokes that I really hate. I think it's good that they go for an hour because I feel they rush through everything.

Code Monkeys is awful. It's like a bad Flash video by people trying to insist they like video games and can be funny, when in reality, it makes you wanna slam a pencil through your temple.
As for Icons, I think they stopped making those. THOSE were awesome to watch. :(

I would say 2009 is doable for SC2. We will probably get some details on Battle.net by November at the lastest and Beta will probably be around Febuary, since I don't think they want to launch the Beta until WoTLK is up and running smoothly.
Yes I know WoTLK and SC2 have different dev teams but in terms of support and infrastructure I don't think Blizzard wants to spread itself too thin during the first few months of WoTLK's release.
