Hey Destin, did you read or find out what the Samsung guy said would replace blu-ray? Course not, because the Samsung exec was talking out of his ass. I read the article today about how Blu-Ray would be replaced by.... lets hear his rational.
"In a chat with British website Pocket-lint, Samsung UK Consumer Electronics Director Andy Griffiths predicted that Blu-ray will be obsolete by 2013. "I think it [Blu-ray] has 5 years left, I certainly wouldn't give it 10," he stated bluntly.
Griffiths didn't go into much detail about his reasoning, but he gave a few hints: "In 2012 we will be in a true HD world. Everything from your television to your camcorder will be offering you pictures in high-definition, and we plan to offer you that HD world from all angles." He went on to say Samsung is betting on organic LED technology, and OLED-based TVs should become mainstream by 2010."
So... Oleds a TV format with no information storage at all will beat out a storage medium??? You have to check your sources man. Because if you take quotes out of context like you did in this Hard News people will think you're full of it. If I said that the internet has about 5 years left, then didn't give my reasoning would you believe me as well?

Umm...I think the idea is that OLEDs have a much higher max resolution than today's current 1080p TVs. There have already been demo screens at trade shows with insanely higher resolutions.
Samsung is trying to say that ultra HD (or whatever you want to call it) is the real wave of the future, and Blu-ray simply doesn't hold enough storage.

All of the Japanese think this way until some good rpgs started coming out for the 360. Now Japan is preparing to order many more. Square-Enix also realized the 360s potential and thus are releasing 3 new rpgs in the nex year, 2 of which are exclusive.
Sony and Nintendo have had a strangle hold for decades but I have a feeling the American market will start to make progress in Japan in the next year or so.

Yo, Son. I am not Japanese. I just live and work here. I am from the US. I have never been big on the Xbox or the 360. I just prefer other consoles. I am not saying it is bad, I just don't like it myself.
The only way I would play a 360 is if someone gave it to me. I am not going out and putting an effort into buying it. Just not worth it for me.

Yea it is a good gaming machine but just like the Wii, it lacks when it comes to titles. In particular, PS3 has the lowest amount of exclusive titles thus making the system less relevant.
Xbox 360 offers the best online support of the 3 consoles and practically has all of the games the PS3 does.
Just remember, Destin owns a PS3 as well.

the fact is that wii has to many exclusive titles and with the multi consel titles it has the controles for them suck becuse the games developers get lazy and dont try get it to work as well as it should which results in crappy games thats why i only buy exclusive games that get good rattings but wii also has crappy exclusives to so be carful of those to
