Today we hear a big rumor about one of our favorite fighters, THQ picks up a game most had hoped was dead, and Cheapy D's on with his deals of the week on Cheapy D's Cheap Ass Corner.

Complaints about SC2 are rather annoying at best. They complain about the single-player campaigns are being split up on a game that has its core gameplay revolving around competitive multiplayer. Free access to battle.net, all 3 races are playable, and the map editor is more powerful than that of Warcraft III's map editor. They could completely take out single-player and millions of people would still buy it.
But they're not doing that. Instead, they're providing a lengthy single-player campaign lasting 30+ hours for each race with multiple paths and choices available to you (non-linear), as opposed to the short 8-10 hour single-player experiences in games these days. Seriously, what's wrong with people these days? They complain when companies put out more of the same cookie-cutter crap, and they complain when companies show some originality in their work and try something different.
Don't worry Destin, you can still play as Protoss either through skirmishes with the AI or on Battle.net. :D

Oh yeah about that... They announce on their forums a while back that they'll be adding features to Battle.net for SC2 like VoIP and if I recall correctly, custom ladder support. VoIP hardware is expensive, so I wouldn't be surprised if they charged to use this feature. Aside from that, if you're like me and all you're interested is playing on the Blizzard's standard ladder, using chatrooms, or playing custom maps, you have free access to it. They're adding in features that people want but is very expensive on their side, but it doesn't necessarily add to the "full experience".

Plus I dont want to pay 60 bucks 3 times over the next 3 years for 1 fuckin game. They make like a billion dollars off of WOW and we have been waiting 10 years for SC2 and they break it into 3 games and are going to make us pay 180 bucks for the damn game. Nice News! I'm definitely thinking of MvC2 now! I loved MvC, especially Spiderman! He may have walked weirdly, but he KICKED ASS! As for SC 2, the campaigns seem full and lengthy so it doesn't seem that bad, the three year thing I mean. Besides it's not like they're taking online away. So you can get your ass kicked by Korean nerds with all of the races in a fairly short time.
Ahhh... 50 Cent, I don't know who he is, but apparently nobody likes him. I think the gameplay looks average if you ask me. Pretty average looking guy with an average gun shooting average terrorists. It seems the background is very brown too. Then again thats Iraq for ya. Hahaaa!

That picture of Ryu they keep using for Marvel vs Capcom is actually the portrait that Udon Crew created for Street Fighter II HD Remix. I don't think that it would be used for Marvel vs Capcom as well, unless Udon Crew created it for both, but they haven't mentioned such a use. Maybe it's because they actually want to do GOOD with the game? and not just give it a rushed storyline, like what we find with most RTS games?
Blizzard isn't the type of company who rushes things and wants to half ass stuff, which is why Starcraft, Diablo 1 and 2, and WoW are often considered some of the greatest games of all time.

I remember the first time I played 50 Cent Bulletproof on my Xbox. I was disgusted (thank god i only rented it. a waste of money). Now with the new 50 cent game coming out... I won't touch it with a 1,000 foot pole (and no I WON'T rent it).
Wait, so I have to wait THREE YEARS to play the Protoss campaign? I'm glad Blizzard is putting a lot of effort into the game, but damn, I don't have that sort of attention span! Yes, it is cool that the campaigns are supposedly going to be much more extensive than your usual RTS, but when you step back and take a look at the gap between chapters, it's ludicrously long. It's like spending a day or two to read part-way through a novel, then sticking a bookmark in it and letting it collect dust until the next year, then repeat.
Personally, one thing that worries me about the huge gap between releases is maintaining the quality throughout the entirety of the campaign. Not to say it'd go down; quite the opposite. I'd hate to see the Zerg get more polish than the Terran, and the Protoss have more polish than the Zerg, because Blizzard has so much more time to work on them.
I know some people will use the excuse in certain games that if the multiplayer is good, it compensates for a crappy single-player campaign, which I think is bullshit. It shouldn't need to be excused. Some of us just don't care about death matches all that much. So yeah, in before that argument.

What is it specifically that makes WoW one of the best games ever made. One of the biggest faults in it specifically is that the story is kind of weak because no matter what you do or who you save or defeat or how hard it was, that guy standing next to you? I've played Diablo too, and again, without ranting, I think that "one of the best games ever" statements really should be qualified. I don't even rate that one as all that memorable.....
