Today Epic games fixes some problems with Gears of War 2, a rehab clinic is opened for addicted gamers, and a new Superman game is rumored to be in the works.
I do not know if any of you have had the chance to play the Super man Arcade game. but it was AWESOME!! Yes it was a beat 'em up.. but it was superman and a 2nd Red Suit Superman teaming up against Waves of enemies. (kinda like the Ninja Gaiden Arcade game.. An AWESOME CLASSIC)
I'm really looking forward to seeing that Factor 5 can bring to the table using Superman. so.. that Wait Begins..
One more thing.. We really need a new Batman game as well. Some with a mix of Crackdown (large sandbox to play in), Prince of persia (controls and Fluidity), and Assassins Creed (NPC interactions and over all feel). just a thought..

Does anyone else out there remember the old Superman arcade? It was a side scroller beat-em-up/platformerer. That could have 2 players (one was regular Supes, the other was a red one). I though that was a pretty solid game for it's time. Jumped right in with the rest of the classic arcade beat-em ups.
Have superman ever being a good game? last time i played it was on 360 and it sucked horrible, if they finally annonse the game i would not even care about the game.

What um you mean "might"? I played this game all day Sunday with a friend and even with the magic powering him down Superman is an amazing character! He has all of his important powers and is a lot of fun! This whole game rocks! When he punches someone through a wall pounds them on the way down, and then blasts them down onto the next arena with heat vision it's Awesome! As cool as he is, the Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and the Flash are even more fun! I assume you've played it?

Being a huge comic book nerd, I don't think there has to be a reason to have a video game other than attempting to publish a good game (and make money for the game makers :) ). He's a pop culture icon, why not celebrate it?
It's a shame that the only good Superman game was The Death & Return of Superman (haven't played MK vs DC yet)

The Korean and chinese gold farms need to go to the rehab place as they play 24/7 but then again there is gamers in japan that are like movie and music stars just becuase they play video games so well but then agian they are not allowed girlfriends or boyfriends becuase of it all XD
They've made two shitty games in a row. Pretty doesn't equal good, and they should realize that by now. Their gameplay has been going downhill since they left the N64, even if their production values have been going up.

I have high hopes for a good Superman game. It took several years but Spidey had his day with his first great game on PS1.
