3 LCD Mfg's Guilty of Price Fixing, $585 Million in Fines
In a plea agreement filed in San Francisco Federal Court, Sharp Corp, LG Display Co. Ltd, and Chunghwa Picture Tubes Ltd. all agreed to pay $585 million USD in fines after being investigated for conspiracy to fix prices on LCD panels.

Capcom should give some credit to Mr. Romero IN CASH and PC gaming rock on with your mouse and keyboard. Make that for the consoles and I'll get Fallout 3 for them till than I'll play it on the PC ( oh and because it's mod and cheat friendly)

I am a huge fan of GAR's zombies movies, but the man himself is a dick, I went to sundance back in 2001 and he was going to be there and give a lecture, being a film student back then that got me pumped, I took my poster from the org. Dawn of the Dead and spend the extra cash to go see him and then at the end of the lecture he said he was going to give and sign autografs, but while standing in line a guy came and told us the GAR whould only sign items bought tonight at the little koisk up front, when we got to the koisk which GAR was sitting I saw the same poster I had he was selling for 45 bucks, what the hell, I spent 35 to hear the guy talk for about an hour, in which he was about 10 late, now he wanted all of us to shell out up to 45 dollars more? I'm glad Capcom won, GAR is a dick and now hopfully we will see Dead Rising 2

All they have to do is make easier and better to use internet browsers build on board and add a Keyboard and Mouse feature. And of course hardware upgrades for better browsing.

I don't know how they are measuring these gaming PC sales, but that number appears to be really off to me.
There is absolutely no way people are buying more gaming PC's than Wii's alone.
If a gaming PC is something that can run a web browser then maybe your right but those figures really do not add up at all I think. Besides people who usually get a gaming PC end up building they're own or upgrading a normal PC.

After watching this I checked out that Peta game and it is honestly the most bad ass flash game I have ever played. It is gorier then Gears 2! Seriously how cool is this?

The only thing similar to the George's movie is the shopping mall and zombies. Shit, if Romeo would have won this case, imagine what would be the destiny of every space marine shooter there is. It also states in the front cover that:

cmon that lawsuit was silly, the us courts should fine people and companies that make them loose theyr time whit ridiculous claims like this, then ID software can sue every single company that ever made a FPS cause they where first, isnt contra just mario bros whit a gun, and castlevania is mario bros whit a whip, and dead space is a ripoff of event horizon, its silly if the name where the same or the some especific situations (outside of the generic zombies in a mall scenario) then "maybe" they would have a case, an sure PCs sell more than console nowadays a gaming pc its the most price-effective way of getting a powerfull sistem for everyday work, especially if you are into CAD or GD, i build networks for big companies and i always recommend base level gaming PCs for terminals they are really good pieces of hardware, heck i have 3 of them in my house and 5 at work, thats a total of 8 against only 3 sistems, and i am one of the very few people that own all sistems (judging for the fanboy wars in this site it seems that most people just have one)

They didn't steal any characters from Dawn of the Dead, the mall is completely different, the overall plot is different, and Dead Rising isn't about consumerism, it's about killing zombies in a mall.

What does the sun do at dawn? It rises. This is also a metaphor for the emergence of the undead.
In a way, the name of the game and movie are very similar.
I guess the only way it could of been more obvious. Is if the game were called Morning of the Dead.
The Dead Rising sequel could be called Evening of the Undead Corpses (Night of the Living Dead), and they'd be able to get away with it.
