One of the coolest moments at the Iron-Man this year had to be when Vertex Guy aka Chris Kline hit the stage and absolutely shredding the crowds face off. You may recognize him rocking the stage at Video Game Live and his videos on youtube. Believe me, while providing this recap is cool watching him on video does not do it justice at all. One of the best guitar players you'll ever see, Vertex Guy is in a league of his own. We all had to get in front of the mirror after the show... because he rocked our faces right off. <-- worst joke in history.

*edit* We just received an email from Vertex Guy himself and he informed us that you can now buy the brand new "Bionic Jam" from the upcoming Bionic Commando Game here for only 99 cents! Woo hoo! It was just released and is a perfect fit for all you with video game music libraries in your iPod.

I came across his stuff recently... His Duke Nukem and Double Dragon remixes are amazing, way better than most of the crap otakus* spit out these days.

*I'm not calling him an otaku, seeing as how I find that to be a derogatory term. It's just that the internet is flooded with crappy video game and anime remixes made by "otaku" nerds and it's sickening.

his face was calm while he was playing the whole time, he didn't looked stressed at all. and those tunes, oh man, kind of makes me wanna just turn off the music to the game and just have that playing in the background, that was awesome

Vertex guy is a freakin' BEAST! You can tell he practices day and night to make his remixes rock! My favorite is his contra remix, its so bad! It just gives it that more hard core tone! He's crazy good!
