After 4 days, 10 games and some absolutely EPIC matches we have a NEW Iron-Man of Gaming. An incredible showing in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith propelled Harrison Fluster past last year's champion, Chris "Kumachine" Delp by the slimmest of margins. If you missed it you truly did miss out.
In the next coming days and week's you'll be exposed to the fun that we have at this year's Iron-Man. The response was outstanding and if you are a g1 that attended don't be afraid to blog about your experience, good or bad! We want to know what you liked and what we need to improve on to make this event even more awesome for next year. Congrats to all the competitors, attendees and especially volunteers who made this year's Iron-Man even better than what we thought.

Well, we've been busy
Well, we've been busy getting up waaay early in the morning and staying till 12 or 1 at night to wrap up the Iron-Man and get ready for the next day, so we don't have time.

All I cared about that whole show was seeing GH: Aerosmith. Sorry, but that's God's honest. Actually, I cared more about playing it... and stomping EVERYONE. God saw fit to make me and this Jonathan Coulton - looking dude the last to freeplay before they announced Harrison's victory, so ALL y'all got to see our massive GH wieners! Gratz to JC for the skills, seriously, since the only reason I beat him seems to be a combination of jacked-up guitars on both our parts (weird fret timing, wtf star power activation) and streaking (no, not THAT streaking, though that would have been sweeeeeet).
But then I saw that brick of money, and thought to myself, "Self, you could really use that brick of money..."

Great job Harrison; truly a gladiator of highest honor. The Iron Man must have been amazing. I'm just sorry I wasn't there.
The IMOG was wrong!!!
Don't get me wrong Harrison did a phenomenal on Guitar Hero to land him in first by 10 points and won the IMOG. But if you go back to Killer Instinct, the last three was Angel, Chris, and Jamal. Angel was the clear winner with two amazing matches which he won to be the Killer Instinct champion, but the staff should've set up a match between Chris and Jamal to decide 2nd and 3rd. After the Killer Instinct tournament Chris and Jamal did have that match and Chris dominated which should have made him 2nd in the Killer Instinct tournament which would have given him 80 points instead of 70 which would have made the IMOG end in a tie and a sudden death match would have been in order but no Chris did not get the points he rightfully deserved and the title was unjustly passed on.
What should have happened is that Harrison would have to prove himself against Chris in a sudden death match. If Harrison won he deserves the title but if was to lose Chris should have retained.
So I will be the one to apologize to Chris Delp for not getting his rightful opportunity to retain his title.
