We continue some of our fun investigatory journalism from PAX this we might of uncovered something kinda big. While there was some sort of small announcement about Fight Night: Round 4 a while ago, I may have scooped something about some other boxing titles coming from EA. This time around we get the dish about a game that was released just a couple days ago- FaceBreaker. While some rag on it, I gotta admit: I'm ready to get my hands on it.

I've been following the game and it doesn't look that great to me, but it seems like a lot of people are gonna like it. Craig was as giddy as a schoolboy right there; that was funny.

It isn't Mike Tyson in the future...Mike Tyson is going to appear in Fight Night Round 4, which has been known for awhile now. I could be wrong though, seeing as how this guy is part of EA freestyle, and I'm pretty sure EA Sports is making FNR4.
As far as Face Breaker goes, I REALLY didn't enjoy the game from what I played from the demo. It just feels like you never really have full control over you fighter, and that the computer is just throwing random and crazy punches at you. There doesn't seem to be much strategy unless each fighter plans each punch, which no one does. At least in Punch-Out!! you were looking for every fighter's weakness or opening, this game doesn't have this. Every fighter is pretty much the same except for appearance and their face breaker move.
NOT getting this game.

I played the demo not to long ago and I was not impressed, I found that I could most of the matches by just blindly mashing the button of which really hurt my hands. Punch-Out!! this game is not.

Yeah, the controls are not much sensitive and most of the times you are getting your ass beated!!

I downloaded the demo with little to no expectations... and wow... it was the first time i had so little fun with a fighting game. The controls were lame, and overall just not really fun to play.
I kinda see the appeal and what they were trying to do with the game, but to me it just didn't do it, at all.
I didn't much care for the demo either...
I love being "myself" in games - made as close to me in Fight Night 3's character creator, did the vision camera thing with Rainbow Six Vegas.. and I like the idea with Facebreaker, however..
..I called the Demo "rape simulator" -I like fighting games like Dead or Alive, and as I said I played Fight Night.. but even in the lowest difficulty all I get to do when fighting the computer is get the shit pummeled out of me. O_o I never even got close to doing well, they just come at you and play "Faceraper" all day long... >_<

Well it looks good, and plain fun... But an EA game always does till we the public get our hands on it, then all the good, the bad, and the ugly start to come out. So I'm gonna wait a week or two and see what people say and then maybe I will make up my mind.
