that must sucked, all the time to follow clues and end up with a crappy weapon? well, i'll make sure i won't fall in that one, as for the game, well i didn't buy the xbox, i went to the PS road and man that was one of my only game based regrets.

I'd take my computer over an XBOX any day. Fable may have come out later for PC but it was the best version of the game and included the expansion plus... WAY CHEAPER. Yeah. Any game that kicks that much ass on the XBOX, you know its coming to PC because Bill Gates always needs mo money right?
And I say it because I did the damn quest too. Man was I pissed. At least if it had like 1 damage you could kill SOMETHING, but they totally nerfed it. I know there are RPGs out there where you can get a frying pan as a weapon...and it's deadly!

The frying pan increases in power for every clue you have, in other words, if you just go dig it up, It has 0 damage, if you have all 6 clues, it does one hundred, still gay assed but at least enough to kill something, It also goes well with the prostitute outfit in the bordello quest... (ftw)
Hero saving can be dangerous. Too many saves in some versions of the game will cause super long load times and certain important points of the game will lock up. I recommend against Hero saving. It's not difficult in the least to get gold, XP, or the silver keys.
It's very easy to rack up XP with the endless spawning enemies at the Ancient Cullis Gate. Build up your combat multiplier by readying a bow shot for a few minutes and kill a Troll or Golem (can't remember which is which). Then just spam a spell or buy some stuff from one of the random merchants wandering though the area. Instant XP boost!
Getting gold is very easy, just follow my Ancient Cullis Gate info and level up the Guile skill a few times. Then while in the Ancient Cullis Gate, wait for the merchants to walk though the level and talk to each one. Buy all of the emeralds than you can and sell them back. Rinse and Repeat to gain a ton of gold. Always remember to buy back all of the emeralds before moving on though. After doing this a bunch you can make millions in a matter of seconds.
When I first start a new Fable game I always run straight to the Chaple of Skorm, pick up Skorm's Bow, grind at Ancient Cullis Gate, and max out my character in all skills/money before starting the Queen Bee quest. Makes the game really easy to speed through.

Is it possible to do a Puntos on some games that aren't necessarily one of Jose's favs. Here is a small list I would like to see done.
Halo 3, GTA 4, Crackdown, any of the Guitar Hero games, Heck there are a bunch of games I would like to hear craig voicing over with his REALLY BAD accent. Plus Jose is funny.

If you collect all the clues, and then get the pan, it is actually usefull. It will then have like 5 augmentation slots, which is very helpful if you add like 5 health/mana regen things to it.

Actually, the *real* frying pan (if you got ALL clues) have 5 or 6 augmentation slots, which can prove to be a godly weapon for a caster if you fill it up with mana regen runes.

Yes the almighty FRYING PAN, if you are a caster and do the quest right you can put 5 mana regen gems on it and you become GOD. unlimited spells Anyone?

The frying pan is useless IF you don't get all 6 clues before getting it, but even after you do, it only has about 100 damage.
The only good thing about this weapon is it has 4-5 augmentation (apparntly there is a hidden slot) slots.
Good for those who need to stack mana augmentations.
Anyway, some nice tips there. I never thought about using hero saves.

The only problem I found
The only problem I found with hero saving is you'll get old really fast. I was at the max age and not even a month had passed game time.
