I've actually had the honor of shopping at Game Over Video Games a few times and I was not disappointed. As you can see from the video, it does have a nice museum of older systems and throughout the store there are plenty of games, DVDs, and game related clothing and other items to choose from.
I personally go there when looking for accessories, controllers, and magazines or cheaper, less known games. I even like to get broken controllers and fix them up with spare parts from other broken controllers.
The only issue I have with the store is that the prices for some of the common and popular games are outrageous! A used copy of Final Fantasy VII(PS1) is not worth $100, at least to me. Super Mario All-Stars(SNES) can be found for much less than $50 elsewhere.
I can totally understand the expensive prices for RARE games like Suikoden II(PS1), Intelligent Cube(PS1), Bubble Bobble 2(NES), or Panzer Dragoon Saga (Saturn). Those games actually are rare, but just because common games are popular does not mean the prices should be jacked up, but I guess that's why he stays in business. Also, they do need a good CD buffer like other stores in order to clean the newer games.
Other than that, it's a great store and it's always worth checking out. The nostalgic feel is priceless.
Alright boys, let's get in there and destroy General Havoc once and for all!
