Obviously you, the g1s, are a part of our family so we want to share with you some of the games that we give thanks for and shaped us into who we are today. What two games am I talked about? Here and here.

The game I give thanks to...has to be my first game Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Genesis (this may be sad, but I never beat it!).

..

Awww, Jose :)

I am thankful for Harvest

I am thankful for Harvest Moon on ps1...that game absorbed me into its fleshy womb, and nursed me into the man I am today. Also Pokemon did in fact kick ass...and Rock and Roll Racing on SNES (Better than Mario Kart, deal with it!)

"Political correctness is tyranny with manners."

Happy Thanksgiving Screwattack!

I give my thanks to Screwattack for working there asses off bring us something new EVERY DAMN DAY!

Corey's part was sad. :-( I'd hang out with you Corey! I never beat KOTOR.......you can show me!

Craig's was fucking classic. I sense childhood scarring there. haha

Jose, I just picked up my first Pokemon game. Pokemon Pearl. It is fun. I just have no clue what to do.

Chad, I agree 100% with you. Capcom feels like the only company that cares about the gamer these days.

Ben, Sonic is cool. I haven't enjoyed Sonic in a long time. I don't think I will in the near future unfortunately.

Imma Thankful for Super Mario World

First game I ever played when I was little, the first game that I first made a 100% on, hell I just liked MAAAAAARIO! =D

oh hell you can read this can't you

tsktsk Jose, Pokemon Stadium

tsktsk Jose, Pokemon Stadium rocked :P

Anyway, I'm most thankful for Suikoden III. The game that pretty much got me into RPGs.

I'm Thankful for..

Even though I'm not American but Canadian (we celebrate thanksgiving in Oct. for some reason) the game I'm most thankful for is Blades of Steel for the old NES it was the first game other than Mario/Duck Hunt I ever owned my parents got me it for my Birthday one year and I was so happy. I sold my NES a few years ago with Blades of Steel and it was the worst mistake I have ever made. But one day I will own a NES again and I will get another copy of Blades of Steel and recapture the old glory I once had

I be Canadian as well. ^^

Well, I could list for a long, long time, but I'll just give one. (I guess two...)
Hmm... I'd have to say Wolfenstein and DooM. The founding fathers of the FPS of today.
If you're a fan of either, I need not explain.
DooM was such a ground-breaker that almost all other FPS released after it were known as "DooM clones".

That's saying something right there.

I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

Sweeeeeden here;

We don't celebrate thanksgiving here in Sweden.
However; Metroid, Megaman and Final Fantasy.
Especially Metroid. First game I ever played at age 2-5.
Megaman for my growing up period.

Im thankfull for Naughty dog, because all the platform games they made rocks and has given me lots of good memorys.
Fun fact, i live in norway so i never cared much for thanksgiving, because its not a holiday here:P
But it felt fun joining in on the thanking part hehe
Well time to go, school:(

My games i give thanks

theres is and only be one franchise that got me into gaming and without it gaming would not be the same for me .I am talking about the greatness of the masterpiece of Keiji Inafune's Megaman!!!!!!Thank you Keiji you are a god to me .(cries of joy looking at his megaman collection)Sniff Thank youuuuuuuu!!!!!

i'm thankful for...

super castlevania 4 and actraiser
oh hell yes!!

Craig...

Uh...wait...huh...eh...what?

Had to rewatch that, didn't understand a single thing you said.

Game I'm thankful for? Chrono Trigger. Before that game, games were all about getting from this point to the next, Chrono Trigger was the first game to show me there was much more depth than just performing simple tasks to get to the end of the level.

I give thanks to Solid Snake...

...for not killing me... yet.

----
"I found a Burrito!" -Testament (Guilty Gear)

lmao

Sweet comment dude lol.

I give thanks for the Metal Gear Solid series. MGS1 was the first game that i HAD to beat. Sure i freakin loved mario and sonic, but I was never pushed to beat any game until this one. Thanks Kojima, Konami, and Mr. Snake :D

Super Mario World

While I can agree with everyone here thus far, I have to say that the game I'm most thankful for is Super Mario World. That game is the foundation of everything I love about gaming, because it was the first video game I ever played. I've been gaming ever since, and I have absolutely no regrets.

Oh... and I'm also thankful for ScrewAttack being awesome and giving us something original every freakin' day.

And Valve kicks ass.

...Capcom too.

No way!

You must be my twin brother or something! My favorite game ever is Super Mario World, but not only that: It was the first video game I ever played! I was 4 at the time and it opened me up to everything great about gaming. Such a great game, especially to start ones gaming career on!

holy crap i basicly wrote the same thing

i basicly wrote the same thing

I am thankful for Resident evil 2

i am thankful for Resident evil 2.
when it came out i thought it was the greatest game ever.
and it showed me how much fun it is killing zombies & monsters. and that large amounts of blood & guts are cool.

I'm thankful for the Mario

I'm thankful for the Mario Bros. is it wasn't for them i would have grown up alone. Me and my cousins used to be inseparable we would go to each other houses and play Nintendo all day but out of all the games none could compare to Super Mario 3. We would spend the majority of our time playing the Original Mario bros mini game, stealing each others cards, racing to see who could get to Bowser first, thous were the days. Back then my and my cousin were the only people our own age we could hang out with and the Mario Bros gave us some thing to do. Its probably these memories that shaped the way that i am now.
Click here to level up my card!

The game I'm thankful for

Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. My very first game on my very first console.

I'm thankful

I'm thankful for the pure untainted awesomeness that was RADICAL REX for the mega drive, that game is the reason I played games in the early 90's and that kinda carried on.

Also im thankful for my hands. No hands, no games

I am thankful for

I am thankful for all those pornographic atari games + the extremely violent games, because with out them the video game industry would not be what it is today and their would be no funny videos on you tube and other sites about them.

That music in the background is...

Melodies of Life from Final Fantasy IX, right?

I'm thankful for Great Giana Sisters

Great Giana Sisters, the cheap shameless ripoff of Super Mario Bros on the Commodore Amiga. First game I ever played.

Still glad I got the real deal on NES a year later though.

Wow

Some dark, repressed feelings there Craig?
Also I'm thankful for the overlooked games that were still awesome.

Achievement

Im thankfull for the N64 and

Im thankfull for the N64 and all my awesome games i have for it!
--------------------------------------------------
I don't drink. I don't smoke. I play videogames!

Thanks giving

I'm thankful for my family the nintendo WII and all the mario games that came out(that were good)

I'm also thankful for the N64

If you couldn't tell by it's glorious numbers being in my username. It was my first ever console and it's still my favorite to this day as I'm still finding new games at my games store and online for it. Man, I have some awesome memories with that thing, all of them awesome of course! Also, I'd like to give thanks to Mario and the PSP, because with out Mario I wouldn't be the ever expandable gamer I am today and as for the PSP, I never would have been able to rock out on my school bus to my favorite songs with out it. Just sad that I broked it. :'( R.I.P. old friend: 2005-2008.

I'm also thankful for one last piece of video goodness before the weekend, just before I go into a deep, clinical depression because I didn't get my fix on ScrewAttack. Thanks so much! And I'm thankful for this site exsisting and having you guys here like a big, dysfunktional, psyco gaming family! I loves you g1's and SA crew! BIG HUGS!!!

I'm thankful for The Last Remnant

Because it is what I will be spending my Thanksgiving with.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I may be allergic to turkey, but that doesn't stop me from stuffing my face from whatever is on the table (besides turkey) and watching the Detroit Lions lose every freakin' year. Ahhh...good times.

Anyway, the games I'm most thankful for are GoldenEye 007 on the N64 and Metroid on the NES. GoldenEye 007 for having a kick ass multiplayer and making me friends that would probably have beaten me up back in elementary/junior high school. Chris, Kyle, Jimmy, Evan, and Dan-o for kicking my ass with a rocket launcher 75% of the time. Thanks, guys.

Metroid for introducing me to gaming. If I would have played anything else, I more than likely would not be the same gamer that I am today. Matt, thank you for letting me play this game at the age of 4. Thanks for being a rockin' cousin to me. Also, thanks for giving me your NES when you got a SNES. See ya at the table, and at the couch to pwn you.

-Tanner "Catch22" Larson

I am thankful for....

Toilet Paper...It got me through some "tough" times...SERIOUSLY! XD

I too am thankful to Capcom for always making awesomeness. Also thankful to the first game I ever owned: Starfox 64.

Happy Turkey day States

well sitting here reading posts and trying to figure out what game I could put down and the utmost awesome game that i'm thankful for. I can't there is just too many.
I'm however thankful for two things. Having had some wicked older cousins who got me hooked on gaming since I was crazy young child in the 80s. So I'm thankful for my hand me down atari/colleco/intellvison and commador64. And second, a site with the content, humor and drive to make some really entertaining and informing stuff. Not to mention keeping down and real and never letting me forget that games are still games and they should be fun, cause thats why we all are playing them still isn't it?

We canucks had turkey last month so I'm gonna go shoot some zombies Left4Dead style!

I'm givin my thanks to a game you guy's couldn't play

Like you guys, I have ton of games to give my thanks for my good old memories. but if I have to choose one, it's gonna be 'Seikendensetsu 3'. which is the real sequel to 'Secret of Mana'.

It's an awesome game, it's way better than Secret of Mana. but the real reason I'm choosing this one is 'cos I had the chance to play it when it was released, when most of people lived in the west couldn't. so I was lucky.

Big thanks to Square for making that fabulous game. but shame they never released it in the west.

KOTOR indeed. I'm most

KOTOR indeed. I'm most thankful for Baldur's Gate and Ancient Domains Of Mystery.

Most thankful for...

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. One of the most immersive games ever, and certainly the most immersive of the Zelda franchise. It's such a step away from the standard Zelda experience that it stands out on it's own and shines. One of my favorite games of all time, and definitely my favorite Zelda game. Thank you, Majora's Mask- thank you, thank you, thank you!

A great clip, and for a sec, I thought maybe Craig was going to say he's thankful for SFII, but...MORE thankful for HD Remix (because oh man, it is sweet. Suh-weet). All around great games to be thanked, both SA Crew and G1's. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
____

My soon to be webcomic, Lifeless Doll!
Hoping to be up sometime during my life. =D

Resident Evil 1

I'm thankful for Resident Evil 1 for getting me hooked on all that is horror.

Thanksgiving was last

Sportacus - The REAL blue bomber

I am thankful to SSBB
