Well, today was another great Side Scrollers, and I can't wait to see Hard News, and hopefully see Magsafint Corey on camera one day.

Not to come off rude or anything, but it's amazing to think that all you need is a girl to make the entire mood even more entertaining.

It's great to hear that ScrewAttack isn't becoming a total sausage fest after Liz left. :p

The new members seem really lively and sound like they make great additions to the team.

For starters this was an awesome show this week. Nice, long, and entertaining. Double D (Daily Destin if your nasty!) was correct in mentioning the NeoGeo adds. The one he was referencing said "You have to have a pair of these to own one of these" with a picture of some balls of steel next to a NeoGeo. According to Gamemakers on G4 the company behind NeoGeo was notorious for publishing strange, off-the-wall magazine adds like the one mentioned above. I don't think they ever had television adds, so that's probably why Craig hadn't heard of them.

Double D is looking to be an awesome addition to the site. I'm personally looking forward to the Hard News every day thing y'all are working on. It will give me another reason not to watch/listen to regular television.

I know what you mean about the Texas stereotype. I'm from Tennessee and the whole Southern thang gets beat to death by feriners who don't know nothin'.

Anyways...

The new cast is great, but they didn't talk about the biggest thing that happened in the world of gaming this past week, the new Screwattack site. Before the site was like a great TV channel, now it's a mainstream gaming community. I know a lot of hard work went into it, and I would have liked a little more "behind the scene's" talk, but never the less, a great podcast as usual.

thank goodness for new site don't have to wait 10 plus minutes to listen to side scrollers.... fyi xbox live top game list isn't just determined by online multiplayer, if your playing single player and your system is signed online that game your playing gets cred...

Again, very professional show this week, it really felt like a show you'd listen to on the radio wich i hadnt seen in a good while from Sidescrollers.

Not that I think it is a bad change, Corey has a sexy voice haha. Well, It really is amazing to see how far ScrewAttack sidescrollers has come in the last year or so.

Just wanted to add for craig or any other g1's interested
if you are looking for a neo geo get the arcade standup and not the console version. The home console version has become a collectors item and while the console itself isnt too expensive(you can usually pick one up for 1-200$) the cartriges have gone into the realm of the rediculous, expect to pay up to 300$ for a copy of metal slug. Most people dont realise this but the arcade version was one of the most widely produced machines ever made mainly because it was cartridge based it was far cheaper for arcade owners to buy a new cart rather than invest in a new machine.With acrcades dying everywhere you can easily find one for 1-200 maybe less. the big advantage is the mvs cartridges were massively overproduced and thier demand has tanked you can pick up just about any for 2-5$ if you shop around. Also coming from an owner of one the maintenance on the machines is very low they use very easy to find parts and the interior circuit boards are rock solid.

Btw, can we have some more Jose's Puntos with GTA IV tips? :) That would be sweet.

I'm actually in love with the way Mario Kart Wii controls with the wheel. I wasn't expecting it to work as well as a controller, but... I actually find it much more intuitive THAN a controller. The learning curve is a bit higher, that's sure, but once you get to playing with it for several hours, you gain Metroid Prime 3 syndrome; aka, it becomes damn near impossible to go back to the analog stick.

So, I applaud Nintendo for nailing their innovative controls on a franchise game yet again. I do NOT however applaud their absolutely rage-inducing rubber-band AI coding.

I gotta say i was skeptical of Destin, sorry if that is spelt wrong, how about I just call you Double D.
Any way i was skeptical after seeing that super ScrewAttack brawl. The sunnies thing just kind of scared me off a little,(understandable if it is like a disability you have with your eyes though) just thought he looked like a freak (and not in a good way). But after listening to you speak just then I think you would have to be the best addition to ScrewAttack since the obsession with hitting people in the testicles.

Cant wait to see more of you Double D... hehe... boob size... hehe...

The show was great but I don't like Corey's name....foot-long would have been much better. Oh well.

I like how you guys advertise for Video Games Live even though you got kicked out of it once. Tommy's awesome, but that other faceless ho-bag that threw a fit in your faces sure wasn't.

Daily Destin is really hilarious, and Corey seems cool. They're both great addictions to the team. My ultimate boss battle is always going to be fighting M. Bison at the end of Street Fighter II. Awesome sidescrollers guys!

Go back to Footlong Corey. Maxifent is too dam hard to say. Also Shadow of the Colossus is one of my favorite games.

I Enjoyed this edition as always. Corey's official name isn't as cool as Foot long, but oh well... BTW, The Wii wheel IS orgasmic, it just takes like.. 3 hours of practice.

This weeks sidescrollers was great. Nice to see Corey and nice to hear from Destin as well. I think they'll make great additions to the SA family can't wait to see more from them.

I think a funny hat wearing reviewer once said something about the masses sounding like a thousand fleeting lambs suggesting the same thing, and like those lambs i must say, I did like footlong as coreys name lol.

But damn good SS show. Flowed really well.

No offense to you G1s out there but, give them a break, ok? Footlong Corey was an offshoot joke that came out of something random. It would be a terrible stand alone name and you're dulling the joke faster than a Converse sneaker's treads. Maxifent is fine.

An awesome Sidescrollers, Maxifent Corey and Daily Destin seem very natural behind the mic and they did a great job on the show. I am definitely looking forward to the "Pink vs Blue" show they have coming up and it looks like Screwattack is going to be better than ever now.

Someone's probably already stated this, but the fastest time without warps is about 9 minutes, the 5 minute run used warps.

Cool show this week and a very funny one, too. After hearing Destin I´m really looking forward to Hard News. Also I´d like to hear Corey more often on Sidescrollers, she has a really nice voice.

I'd like to add my tally mark to the list of people who liked Footlong Corey better.

The new guys were really good! Really!!! This was no doubt the best show since Tom quit! It made me happy!

I'm sorry to say but this weeks' SideScrollers was lackluster. had some interesting parts, but most of them seemed beoring.

And I thought I was the only person on earth who'd actually played it.

Hey, the magical koopas from Super Mario World are called Magikoopas....and the boss from Yoshi's Island was a Magikoopa called "Kamek". I have no idea why I remember this, so back to my isolation chamber I go.

Btw...i'm a gaming loser about to get his Masters in International Affairs :P.

thats pretty much what this weeks sidescrollers was pure awesomeness. I think corey should stay on sidescroolers with craig and jose. Destin was pretty funny to but you can't dissown jose.......thats just wrong

This is the best side scrollers in a while. I hope to see alot more of the new faces at Screw Attack.

I don't know how many people are from Chicago on here. But just so Craig knows. EVERY person in the city uses the CTA. really, every college student gains free access to the CTA and travels almost exclusively on it.
But there really is no way to know this if you haven't been around the city.
