I wanted to try out the beta on my PC ...
Could not even start the damn game. That stupid browser thing they made is just horrible. Tried a lot of the "fixes" but I have yet to see a actual patch for that game manager plug in from them.
Was kind of interested in BF3 but the fact that a lot of people have the problem where they can't even start the game, the sheer amount of bugs and that the release is less than a month away have convinced me to not get this game.

Its just the Beta.... it's not going to be like this when the game is released. Thats why they have betas, to fix those bugs.... but still if your have problems with the PC version then see if you would enjoy a Console version. something tells me this game is going to out do it's very repetitive competitor.

Look, I don't even know the controls of COD and I've never played Battlefield, but I enjoy a healthy amount of glitches in games. Glitches can be interesting and/or funny. I enjoy some games BECAUSE they're glitchy. However, in a game like this, glitches aren't going to sell very well.

I have never OWNED a CoD game, but I've played them at friends' houses and the such, and I can honestly say I've had more fun in this beta than I have in any CoD game. Battlefield, glitchy or not, is more my kind of game.

wow there seems to be a lot of hate for BF3 just because of a video that shows some glitches but damn even with the glitches I had a blast playing the beta, and it's free, i can probably spend more hours playing this beta than an entire Cod game, i bought CoD BLOPs, played a little of it and realized it was very much the same as CoD MW2 and World at War, which i guess isnt a bad thing but hell theres gotta be a point when recycling the same core game mechanics gets a little boring for some people. If DICE does manage to fix those glitches on release date than they can have my money, as for CoD, ill probably wait for a price drop

EA's biggest mistake with the Beta is not Origin, it is not Battlelog and it's not even the bugs in the game. The biggest mistake is making it open, they should have made it closed and had people apply to test it, there are 630 pages of bugs/glitches on the battlelog forum and about 600 pages of these are not bugs, they are technical faults with the end user or people just outright bitching about the bugs with the sensible people trying to explain the difference between a BETA and a DEMO. There is going to be an hours worth of maintenance every day this week so we will see what gets fixed by Friday.
