I was one of the many lucky folks to live in New Jersey and attend the Digital Press NAVA meeting that happened last Saturday, June 28th. It was pretty epic, played some games, hung out, talked to the Nerd and Little Miss Gamer, when out've no where, That Guy With Glasses Shows up.

If you guys dont know, AVGN and TGWG have been sort've doing a little collaboration together where they act as if they are feuding. They furthered that with a Battle Royal at the NAVA meeting.

It was epic to say the least.

Well, to start this off, I'm an 80s baby. 86 technically, but 80s none the less. There were a TON of TVs shows out in the 80s early 90s that kicked so much ass that if mentioned today, a huge feeling of nostalgia encompasses me. From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Who's the Boss : I've seen them all and enjoyed every moment infront of the boob tub watching as a child.

So it brings me to the point of this blog.

Maybe a little harsh, but it's all with love.

So lettme start off by saying that I was one of the few infront of the Edgewater GameStop waiting for MGS4. It was a pretty good time: Looked around, talked about games, and talked about MGS4 and one of it's rumors.

So I was sitting here playing Mega Man 4 and I was wondering, "Why doesn't he just teleport to Wily's last stage? I'm pretty sure all the robot masters will deactivate if he did."

I found my answer.

So yeah, I live around the tristate area, and I've been wondering...

Is there a DAMN retro gaming store around here?!

There used to be one on 9th and...5th ave (i think?) in the city.It was somewhere in the village across the street from some tattoo shop. That place had EVERYTHING. No literally. From ataris to coleco visions, controllers philipe CDIs, snes,nes,genesis all the damn games etc etc.

It closed down a while ago and it's been bugging me cause I wasn't working back then, and i really, REALLY, wanted to buy out half that damn store.

WHAT ARE YOU?!

I've been racking my brain on why I've received this achievement notice,and why in the hell is it blank?!

It's hilarious cause I keep seeing it like "Why, why do you taunt me?!"

Am I the only one getting this?

And yes, I do let it finish loading.

It was one of the first games i got for the playstation when it first came out. Thats back when the original cases for the ps1 where long. It had a pretty kick ass sound track, though the controls were a little....frustrating to say the least.
