With the majority of new consoles supporting decent online communities (No, not you Wii) Ive noticed something about people.

I like to replay through old games, now, I'm not talking retro, I'm talking, launch titles, year old titles. Games that where once hyped up to be the next best thing now left to gather dust. But, a lot of people on my friends list have been asking me why im playing certain games, the reason they wanted to know was because they think its "Old"

To me, there's 4 main types of gamer in today's modern society

Retro Gamers
Modern Gamers
Casual Gamers
The 'Whatever' Gamer

'Retro' Gamers are the ones who have been there since the beginning, with the old 8 and 16 bit eras, who grew up with Sega or Nintendo as the 2 main competitors in the video game war, in a time where games were a lot simpler, didn't have to be all about realism, and where there were a much more varied style of games. These are the gamers who tend to prefer games like sidescrollers, platformers etc.

1- Mortal Kombat. The plot was near enough correct to the game, the characters were decently used (besides Jax) Good acting, good script, good fight scenes and Goro gets punched in the balls.
