Every year we give one member of the community the honorary title of g1 of the Year. This award goes to the member who is an example of what it means to be a g1. This is not a popularity contest, these g1s have contributed greatly to the site and community.

The moderating staff nominated several outstanding members but only a few made it through the selection process. We are asking the g1s to vote now.

Hellraiser has to be one of my favorite horror movies of all time. From the first time I saw it I could tell there was something inherently creepy about it. There was something about it that really got under my skin and not just the skinless people running around either.

After E3 these seem to be the buzzwords that everyone is using.

Casual seems to represent the tweens who play Hannah Montana games and old people who enjoy Wii sports. On the other hand Hardcore seems to be some stereotypical frat meathead who plays nothing but FPS titles, GTA, and Madden.

A modern day look at one of my favorite gaming genres

The fact that The Stooges are still around kicking ass when they are older than dirt is almost inspiring when bands not even half their age have kicked the bucket. But this isn’t about music, I wanted to talk about the raw power of the genre of games known as Beat em Ups and see where they stand today.

Now I haven't gotten far enough in the main game to give it a full review, but I did spend a couple hours with the multiplayer to try it out. A friend said to me "the main game is great, but multiplayer is where it's at," I beg to differ. While a nice distraction for a couple days, I don't think it's going to make you quit H3 or CoD4 as your main online game.
