A year ago, I got the honor of becoming the first ever ScrewAttack g1 of the year. That was one of those things that I did not expect to happen even with the tattoo on my body.

However becoming that g1 of the year meant more to me as just a title on a gaming website, it meant responsibility to the community and to the internet, it meant as a whole to being an ambassador to the G1's that I was apart of.

Hey guys!

Great to finally be blogging again and this is just about the best place to do it. So today, TWIG was out and about in the Southern Ontario region and I had a chance to go with the whole TWIG crew to Toronto for the Fan Expo.

Now, it's what I call ComicCon North but without announcements but still a fun convention. Now the big reason this con was fun for me was because of you! The Community from ScrewAttack.com, The Game Heroes and Fellow TWIG listeners :) and even some of the Pure Pwnage people as well.

Well after traveling through 7 states, 72 hours of traveling on the bus, and 7 days later we at TWiG are exhausted, however we cannot go to bed without podcasting!

Hey guys!

Still recovering from IMOG but a stroke of genius hit me as I was traveling back from Dallas in the middle of the night and I decided that I really like Metroid.

It started and began with a journey that would take us over 3000 miles and 36 hours and across 7 states but it would end with one memory and one feeling that would likely end up being a fond memory of a lifetime.

It was the Ironman of Gaming 2008.

The Crew of This Week in Geek, Mike "The Birdman" Dodd, Steve" Snowball" Saylor, Stefan "The Skunk" Pelltier and our friends, Ashley "I-Candy" and lastly Eric "Floor boy" Horton left Niagara Falls,Ontario on Tuesday June 17th and left for the next 36 hours into what would be an adventure spanning the next 4 days.....

Birdman here and well here is my first G1 Blog entry and since it's more video game related rather then personal, kinda hoping this circumvents the system but also it is video game related as it stands to rebuild a collection and regain a piece of childhood.

I've recently picked up Final Fantasy 6 for the GBA and it took me back to the days when it was Final Fantasy 3 for the SNES. Really been thinking about games that meant alot to me as a child so alot of SNES games but I don't have a SNES and the Wii in my house isn't mine so kind of a problem.
