Ah, 1994. Ace of Base was all over the airways, The New Price is Right briefly entered our living rooms, and O.J. Simpson put a smile on our faces as Nordberg in Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult. Also, Blockbuster Video held their 1994 World Game Championship!

Well, I was one of the last 2 people who still did not own an Xbox 360, and now I got one! Right the very day it went down in price, bought an Elite! Got these games:

Soul Calibur IV
Call of Duty IV
All Pro Football 2K8 (haha, it was only $10, plus Barry Sanders for crying out loud)
Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Forza Motorsport 2 included

I had a good laugh at the fact that the 360 steering wheel also includes a copy of Forza Motorsport 2, so I thought it would be funny to buy it just to say I had 2 copies of Forza Motorsport 2. How many copies of Forza Motorsport 2 do you have?

This was before I realized that it was in fact my question that was read on the SideScrollers podcast. (Yep, I inspired Corey to go on a Battletoads Rampage, and she said my name on air!)

I've wanted to Destroy Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt for years. I was even thinking about recently making a video as a g1 Submission of me destroying the game, but I don't have the proper equipment (other than video phone).

So why this game? It's not that bad. Well, I have 3 copies of the game. Two of them I purchased for $0.09 each back when GameStop was still Funcoland (not EB or Babbage's or Software etc. though).

So I planned to do two things to the game, in either order and depending if it was still possible.

Comic actor Bernie Mac died early Saturday of complications from pneumonia, according to a family member and his publicist. He was 50.

He had been hospitalized in Chicago, Illinois, for more than a week with the lung infection.

So what's this have to do with videogames?

So, any Duke Nukem Forever coverage?

With Mega Man 9 imminent, it seems people are really looking forward to playing the old school style of Mega Man again. It got me thinking: if Mega Man 9 is successful, what if it inspires other developers to follow suit and develop more classic sequels? Just imagine: Castlevania 5, Super Mario Bros. 5, Contra 5, Ninja Gaiden 4, Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Battletoads 2, or even finally Kid Icarus 2! (or 3, if you include Of Myths and Monsters). Mega Man 9 could really bring back a resurgence to classic games if it does well.

So I just bought the Final Fantasy XII Collector's Edition and Resident Evil 4 for GCN.
So I have that on top of having recently borrowed Final Fantasy VII and Silent Hill 2. This is also compounded by my recent purchases of WarioWare: Twisted!, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, Onimusha: Blade Warriors, and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 (does that make it Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3?).
O:BW was kind of a stupid purchase, I bought it at the mall where I bought Onimusha 2 five years earlier, and I still have not even opened that game.
