First of all let me start out by saying that when i first bought GHWT i was more then a little pissed that my brand new drum kit that came with a game that cost more then 200$ worked like utter shit. My orange cymbol would double hit when hit once, blue and green drum pads would work when they felt like it and my red drum pad had to be whaled on to work. Anyway when Activision/Red Octane accounced their fix for the drum kit i was more then a little skeptical that it would help at all.

With the release of Super Mario Rpg and wanders from Ys book 1 and 2 (http://www.gamespot.com/turbocd/rpg/ysbookiii/player_review.html?id=3919...) its becoming obvious that rpgs are becoming more popular on the virtual console. Now Even though Ys book 1 and 2, is listed as a turbo grafx 16 game, it actually is a turbo cd game. If Turbo CD games are on the virtual console now there really isn't a reason why Sega CD games couldn't make their way on to the VC.

I always remember playing battletoads when I was little, I loved that game, yet the same thing always happened, I'd get to level 3 the turbo tunnels and die hardcore on the hyper-bikes. Well i recently bought battletoads on ebay and now I am on a quest to finish battletoads using to warps or extra life code. I have managed to conque the hyper bikes and now can make it through on most occasions losing about 1 to 3 lives. Then Level four, argh!
It really looks like Sega may have dropped the ball again on this one. So far all it looks like you do is jump here and there well holding an analog stick to move forward, it looks like you just get carried along the stage by either springs or speed things. I really hope I am wrong, the game itself looks beautiful and I am really hoping for a great game, but so far, I dunno -_-.

Now before i begin, let it be known I do enjoy this game, its pretty good, but it doesn't deserve the type of status its getting. First off the games presentation seems very Bland, The menus are very lack luster and feel very rushed. Next What happened to 4 Player Battle????

Over the past 2 months or so me and my girlfriend watched the entire 9 seasons of Seinfeld from start to finish. After we finished the last episode, it really started to sink in how unique the show really is. Honestly there hasn't been, nor do i think ever will be a show like it. The way the show was made is just pure genius. Its the only show that could ever get away with crazy storylines like, a masturbation contest, a soup Nazi, a frogger Machine yada yada yada.

As a sonic fan I have always wondered why the saturn game, Sonic X-treme got cancelled. The game was supposed to be Sega's last hope for the system and was canned with 2 months left before release. So what did happen? Well today when I was on the ign retro site, there was an article about it. Here's a link
I never realized how nasty things got and how stressing this game was on developers. Anyways give it a read, its really sheds some light on a game that could have been the best saturn game ever.

I was thinking the other day, how sweet it would be to win a contest and get some old retro gaming stuff as a prize. Now a days it seems like most prizes are a xbox 360, or console or so on or so forth. I think it would be 100x cooler to win something like a nes 2(top loader), or a copy of a rare game like Mario RPG or Chrono Trigger. I really think it would make contests that much more awesomer to win and unique. Any how its just something I had been thinking about.

Hey all, now that my Sonic tattoo is done, I need to move on to the next characters as I will have a whole videogame arm sleeve. So far I am thinking Cloud, Megaman, Kirby/yoshi, and link. I would like some suggestions of what characters would be good to go on my arm. Thanks
