Wow, here's a hard game. I'm sure you've probably played the original on the NES or in Arcades, but maybe you never played one of the harder sequels. Altough personally I think the original is harder, but hey, give it a look. Please comment.

When I think "Wii" this is one of the first games I think of. Hell yes. So here's the latest episode of my series of mini-reviews of every game I've played this year, both new and old. Please comment!

Here's a game that was so hard, it was good. Considering how cheap it is now, I'm sure most of you have it in your library and you don't even remember. Go ahead and check, I'll wait. Please comment.

Episode 2 of my continuing saga down memory lane. This time, covering the sequel to an awesome game that I found at my local Goodwill, which can be a great source for cheap old school games. Please comment!

Hey g1's! Here's my "Gaming Year in Review" where I basically talk about any game I picked up over the past year, whether it's new or old, and give my brief thoughts. At the end I give it a little score, but please thinks of these more as brief editorials rather than reviews. Please comment, and look forward to more over the coming weeks.

Last time, I did something awesome for the Wii, now I'm gonna do it again for the PS2, a system that surely has more than enough for A to Z. Let's-a go!

A - Absolutely brilliant. The last time a system was this universal was the SNES.

B - Best exclusives. Last gen, this giant black brick had the best exclusives of the three consoles, especially from 1st and 2nd parties.

C - Crappiest graphics. Unfortunately, the PS2 was comparitively weak. You won't notice it until you've played a game on both the PS2 and the GCN/Xbox

NOTE: After reading many of the responses to my article (which I greatly appreciate, by the way) I realized that I left out many important details that help to put the situation into context. All in all, it made me look like, well, a douchebag and that I just flatout was intolerant towards Halo. I'm not trying to pass the buck, but I want to make it clear, though I am not a fan of Halo, I do respect what it has done for the industry as a whole, there's no denying it. I do hate the stereotypical image that Halo has perpetuated amongst some non-gamers and even some gamers.

As an aspiring game developer, I find that it enrichens my experience by playing games that have an impact on myself as a person, a gamer, and an artist. That also means I check out advances in gaming that could have an influence on the industry as a whole. One of these is one of the most influential types of DLC in today's ever growing industry is episodic games. These games got a new birth with the revival of cult classic, Sam & Max. Now, more and more games are going episodic; Strong Bad, Penny Arcade Adventures, American McGee's Grimm, and so many more.

So you wanna know why the Wii is an awesome system.
Well, I'm gonna lay it out from A to Z. I'll probably do this with other systems in the future.

A - All gamers can enjoy the Wii. There's something for everyone.

B - Brawl. The best game the Wii has to offer.

C - Channels. Lots of channels for mild diversions, but they're getting better

D - Dead Rising. Proof that "next-gen" title can work on the wii

E - Economy system, you won't find a cheaper console on the market right now

F - Friend codes. Yeah, they suck
