I Have A Dream...Compilation...

It's not surprise that companies in the video game industry like to release compilations of some older games into collections like Mega Man Anniversery and Sonic Mega Collection. I'm here today to share my visions on what would be the greatest collections that haven't been made...but should. Hell, i'll even give them their own titles.

Collections that SHOULD be made

5) Street Fighter: The Master Collection

Games Included: Street Fighter, Street Fighter II (all the games) and Street Fighter III (all the games)

Desired Platform: Consoles

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

The PSP hasn't had the greatest life span so far, compared to the competition. There have been technical problems with the new 3000 system and a library of games that has more "shovelware" than the Gamecube. Whether or not Sony wants to admit it, the DS is the king of handheld gaming. Are there actually good games for the PSP? Of course there are. Is Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII one of those games? Well hope on the next train going to Midgar and you just might find out.

Dragon Quest VIII: An Asshole's Tale

If you didn't know this already, Square Enix is commonly refered to as the gods of role playing games. Fans alike would throw themselves into oncoming traffic to save one of their games from destruction. While those fans might be worshiping the ground Square walks on because of Final Fantasy, they probably aren't paying much attention to one of Sqaure's classic franchises, Dragon Quest. This is the series that preceeded Final Fantasy and isn't exactly all that well known in the states.

Dead or Alive Extreme 2: Perverts Gone Wild!

So after many months of contemplating the thought of playing this game, I finally decided to give into temptation and I rented Dead or Alive Extreme 2. If you thought you were a pervert before deciding to take a vacation on Zack Island, you should wait and see how much more of a pervert you will become upon finishing the game. You've been warned...

The Depths of my Gaming Hell (Part 4): A Delightful Crisis...

...and on the second day of lent, Paul said to Matthew...

"Let there be Final Fantasy VII Spin Offs."

...and they were horrible."

So we've finally come to the end of the journey into the center of my gaming hell, Final Fantasy VII. I've bitched about the original game, the movie, and a shitty spin off. I've finally come to the game that is going to change everything, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

Oh yeah, I didn't forget about Crisis Core...

The Depths of my Gaming Hell (Part 3 1/2): Cerberus's Dirge

As requested by a few people in my last blog, i'm back to discuss another aspect of my gaming hell, Dirge of Cerberus. I know i've already talked about it in PART TWO, but like Advent Children, I don't believe I gave the game the justice it deserved. So, i'm back to talk about the game that really started to push the series down a slippery slope of shit.

Saints Row 2: Damn it feels good to be a Gangster...

In a long line of Grand Theft Auto 3 clones, Saints Row 2 just happens to be the one game that does things differently. But, does Saints Row 2 prove it's street cred or is it just another wannabe player?

Well, Grab your best crew and meet me down by at Freckle Bitches because it is time for us to get our game on with Saints Row 2!

The Depths of my Gaming Hell (Part 3): The Advent of my Children

Yeah, i'm not finished yet. The last blog I did in this series wasn't up to par and I thought i'd revisit something talked about in that blog before going on with the rest of the series.

As the title states, in this blog I will be talking about the movie "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children", again. Last time, I felt like I didn't talk enough about the actual movie. Plus, talking about AC will help me ease into the next topics, Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII (the anime) and the big one, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (the psp game).

A Vault-Tec Presentation: Fallout 3

"I don't want to set the world on fire. I just want a place in your heart..."

Fallout 3 is the long awaited sequel to a game series developed originally by Interplay. Because the company went under (sort of), Bethesda bought the rights to make Fallout 3, while Interplay was left to make a Fallout MMORPG. Fallout 3 was released a few weeks ago and I picked up the game on day one. Since then i've sunk about 40 hours into the game. I haven't finished the main quest, but i've seen enough of the game to have a review in mind.

The Lowdown on the Consoles

So the holiday season is slowly creeping up on us. With that in mind, console sales are going to sail upward with the spike of consumers looking for the console to give to their kids/others.

I wanted to take the opportunity to post a blog with my opinions on all three consoles. Now, I already own the 360 and Wii plus i'm seriously considering getting a PS3 for xmas so then I would officially own all three consoles. I've spent time with all three consoles at one point or another and I want to give you an honest, not biased opinion on them all.
