Are the G1 blogs getting repetitive?

I'm going through most of the blogs and it seems that they are all about GTAIV or Wii related. So I just have to say is this going to be the first weeks of actual G1 blogs?

Well that's all I wanted to say for now. I want to see more originality from people and maybe something more than just game/system reviews. Heck maybe some sports or actual news.

I gotta say I love how people like to bring up the idiots that....

I post a joke blog and it seems that everyone gets their panties in a bunch.

People love to bring up 50+ year old "political" media personalities that have one slow week and decide to change the pace a bit and bash on the gaming community. I guess it seems it's easier to bring up one stupid clip about "TV Person A" bad mouthing "Game M" or "TV Person B" focusing on the bad aspects of gaming and blaming them for "horrific event" 1,2,3 and any other that is very loosely connected to gaming.

Kobe=MVP. About time.

Well it's finally official, Kobe Bryant is the MVP of the NBA. This is a long time coming achievement and it appears that the NBA finally opened their eyes and saw the obvious.

For the past 7 years the MVPs have all come from elite teams.

Here is Glenn Beck's email so start putting in work NEWB!

(Removed)*

I have had this e-mail for a long time due to the fact that I disagree with his stances on everything from politics to pop media.

Well I guess I'm glad that I have had this email and now its time to show this anti-tech old fart what we are capable of. (at least annoy him)

*Replace it and it will be the last thing you do on this site. - Mod

Kentucky Derby and the midgets that ride them.

Is it just me or is it just a bit far fetched to call a horse jockey an athlete. They really don't do anything but just get on a horse and ride it. They only require only one thing to do what they do and that is genetics. They need to be genetic freaks to ride a horse for a living.

Glenn Beck and Bill O' Reilly gay for each other?

Some of you may not know who or what these two "men" are or what they do. In my personal opinion they are just to backwards hating bigots that fear change and the "new" world.

New SA and pointwhoring is rampant already.

This is evident in most of the completely stupid and inane blogs about nothing. It seems that the introduction of the points system had all of the best intentions yet just like XBL achievements people just are hitting the overdrive button and putting out spam and useless information.

Now what can be done about this? Absolutely nothing. The reason is very simple. Net neutrality and freedom of speech on the net. All we can do as a community is be wary of what information we look at and hopefully we find a nugget of insight and not a polished turd.

NHL Playoffs are getting overlooked.

As we speak the NHL is battling it out to crown a new championship. Yet we have everyone else overlooking the games to watch almost the same outcome in the NBA or NASCAR's left circles. This isn't a rarity to the NHL. Just by watching their past few seasons and its steady decline in American television and its live events.

Durant is named Rookie of the year. Are we really surprised?

This NBA season came with only two things in question. One being how good are the Celtics going to be? The other being who is going to be rookie of the year?

All off-season the only thing people were talking about who what was the first pick in the draft. Was it going to be Kevin Durant from Texas or Greg Oden from Ohio State? With the draft having answered the question with Portland picking Greg Oden with their number one pick in the first round followed by the Sonics' second first round pick of Kevin Durant it seemed the only thing unanswered was which of the two wins Rookie of the year.
