Iron-Man of Gaming 2011

ScrewAttack is teaming up with Nekocon to bring you the only Gaming Tournament that crowns the best overall gamer in the world.

NekoCon registration - $40 prior to September 28th
IMoG registration - $10 (at the event)

Games Rules
Game 1: F-Zero (SNES)
Competitors will have one attempt to obtain the lowest total track time possible on the selected course. The competitor with lowest total track time will be declared the winner.

Settings
Course: Grand Prix>Queen league: Mute City 2
Difficulty: Normal
Car: Competitor’s preference

Game 2: Mortal Kombat 9 (Xbox 360)
Competitors will compete in a single elimination Head to Head tournament.

Rounds to win: 2/3
Games to win: 2/3
Characters: Default
Time: Standard (90sec)
No kombat codes allowed.

Game 3: Pac-Man Championship Edition DX (XBLA)
Competitors will have 5 minutes to obtain the highest score possible on the selected level. The competitor with the highest score will be declared the winner.

Mode: Score Attack (5min)
Difficulty: Normal

Character: Auto
Background Music: Auto

Game 4: Wayne Gretsky’s 3D Hockey (N64)
Competitors will compete in a Head-to-Head single elimination tournament.

Controls: All competitors must use the default control scheme

The team with the highest score at the end of a game wins. If there is a tie, the game will go into a 20 second overtime. If at the end of the overtime the game ends in a tie, the competitor with the highest “shots” will be declared the winner. If “shots” are tied a new game will be started using the same teams and the first competitor to score will be declared the winner.

Game 5: Bubsy (SNES)
Competitors will start on world 1-1 and have a total of 3 lives and 3 minutes to achieve the highest score possible. At the end of the 3 minutes or after 3 deaths the competitor will stop playing and their score will be recorded. The competitor with the highest score will be declared the winner.

 

Game 6: Call of Duty: Black Ops (Xbox 360)
Competitors will compete in a system link 4 man Free For All (FFA) tournament. The top 2 players with the highest amount of kills in each game will advance. The Final round will be a head to head match to determine 1st and 2nd place.
