Hyperfire for PC

In ScrewAttack's first few years we've never really had what you would call a "normal update" on July 4th. This year is no exception as we introduce what we can only assume will be the first of many addicting games put together by the entirely g1 run game making company Gamma Prime, Hyperfire. Right now Hyperfire is only available for PCs (which sucks cause we can't play it at the office) but we have been assured that it will definitely be made for Macs as well.

In the words of g1 Marc Marta, "Gamma Prime wants to start out small. This early 80's styled arcade shooter is really simple, but very addictive. This is an example of the minimal capabilities of not even what Gamma Prime can do, but what one member of Gamma Prime can do. Have fun, and happy Independence Day!" Click the image to download the game and get addicted... 80's style.

Mega Man movie clip!

If you haven't heard, there is a bad ass project in the works for any Mega Man fan- a movie! While not an "official" flick you can bet your ass that it will probably be better than any multimillion dollar budget can produce. It just so happens that the director, Eddie Lebron, is also a g1 and wanted to share the first ever clip of the movie with our community. SWEET! Digg it and help spread the word about this incredibly awesome fan movie!

Mortal Komedy

This week's Submission pokes fun at the semi-recently announcement Mortal Kombat/DC mash up. These g1s don't forget to leave out the little details in this video... like that Batman wears old school "Chuck Taylor" shoes.

Thrill Kill Overview

If you've seen and are down with g1 Lee's Still Gaming review show then you'll be down with his girlfriend/assistant Dena's spin off "The Game Den." In this episode Dena takes a look at a game that put the violence in Mortal Kombat to shame- Thrill Kill. Haven't heard of it? It's because it never came out. 20 minutes long, The Game Den hits every detail about a game that would of been the industries first "Adults Only" game.

Kings Quest V Review

This week's Submission comes from g1 Kenneth who throws us something we don't see very often: a PC game review. If you've ever played any "point and click" adventures then chances are you know of the KQ series... and how easy it is to die.

Guitar Hero/ScrewAttack Face Plate

Our g1s are awesome. Straight up bad ass. g1 Cartman289 has gone the extra mile and put together his very own custom ScrewAttack faceplate. Sure, the sound quality isn't the best but there's really only one thing that you need to focus in on in this video- how freakin' sweet it looks. Hats off to ScrewAttack's self proclaimed g1 "image monkey" The Call Me The Fizz for the sweet design!

g1 VGV- Super Mario Bros 3

This week's g1 Submission takes a Video Game Vault style look at the best NES game ever- Super Mario Bros 3. If you're tired of hearing about how great SMB3 is you can still watch the video and watch people be fake attacked for their lack of video game taste.

Average Joe Plays it Cold

This week's g1 Submission comes from a g1 who has been trying to get his show featured on ScrewAttack for a while. g1 newman has taken a concept and has really changed the delivery of it from the first episode to what you see here. Give him your constructive feedback. I'm sure he'd welcome it.

g1 Submission: Ninja Lovin'

Sometimes it's not quantity, it's quality. I'm gonna go on record and say you probably won't see this video on the front page of any other video game website on the internet... but that's why you come here, right? If you don't get at least a little giggle out of the next 14 seconds then I don't know what to tell you. This clip once again proves why Ryu is indeed the top ninja of all time. What a bad ass.

Rockin' out with The Megas

This week's g1 Submission comes from g1 Knothole Resident who has exposed us to a pretty rad band that we haven't heard from before this video- The Megas. While, to be honest, the video is a play through on Heat Man's stage, the tune by itself is rad enough for the watch.
