Editor's Note: I've embed the video of the news report as well. Sure is nice to hear video games being mentioned as a positive influence in the media every now and then.

Yes, a 10 year old boy named Gryffin Sanders has saved both his great grandma's life, as well as his brother's life! His great grandma was having a heart attack and passed out behind the wheel.

"I tried to wake her up at first," Gryffin said. "Then I just took the wheel and drove it into the ditch."

His father, Sean Sanders, calls him a hero.

"The car could have rolled. There could have been, you know, a travesty of an injury or even possibly a fatality," Sean said. "The good news is we will never have to know."

This isn't the only time Gryffin has driven though, he has claimed to be very good at Mario Kart as well as go karting in real life. Gryffin's cousin, who is a sheriffs' deputy, has given Gryffin a medal for his bravery.

"The proudest moment I think of this is he's been so humble about it," Sean said. "There's nothing more I could ask of him."
