My friends always told me it was Rye-you. Heck even Robot chicken pronounced it like that. It wasn't until about 4 years ago when I got a PS2 when I learned I was pronouncing them wrong.

I tend to pronounce the last one as "Sah-got".

And to do this day people still mispronounce Ryu's name as "r-eye-u" and making themselves sound like jackasses in the process.
