free DLC should just be a update to the game, instead of having to go to the systems online store to find and download it amongs the million other $20 dlc

The problem is that things that are supposed to be free ar not, and those that should have a cost don't. It's like they got it backward.

99% of the free dlcs are in tf2.

Adding contend and fixing Broken Things.. in Warcraft 3 we called it "A Patch" but truth to be told DLC is just the same as those Add-ons we had back in the days just no Disk to rub agains your face

Seriously, almost everyone in this 'Love/Hate' is just whining and bitching about DLC. There are some really awesome DLCs that aren't of the EA variety.

Free multiplayer updates for ME3 multiplayer, free DLC characters for Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Those are great examples.

Certain developers know how to do DLC right and when its free it makes me so happy.

Namco seems to get it right with Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Bioware is ok with its multiplayer DLC and the EC Ending (which in my opinion, wasn't as good as i hoped). Still, its easier on the wallet.

Its really rare to see a free DLC. Even different pallet colours are sold. Yes im looking at you SF3.

That were the games that pop in my mind i know that other company's have that kind of DLC that i wouldn't buy, they were only the ones that i remenber at the time.
