I just used my Nintendo themed lunch box. Worked perfect, since the games were all in those handy dandy little plastic cases on the Love List, and the handheld itself was a tank.
LOL, you gotta be kidding me. The best one is the one pictured in the screencap for this reason---the Asciiware Deluxe Carrying Case. How can someone say it's not good? It carries the GB, 12 games, about 12-15 manuals, the Light Boy, 4 batteries, the Rechargeable Battery Pack & AC plug, the link, and the Headphones. That one pictured there is the same one I have & is perfect for road trips. The Hip Pouch was also good, for shorter trips or simply bringing it to school or a friends house without getting the screen all scratched up.
Dude I remember this, when I finally got a game boy, I was so excited...my dad took three weeks to pick out a case for the darn thing, then said "Screw it kid, I got an idea!" So he took me to the mall, and we hit up the camera shop. He bought me a bad ass camera case for it, and I had compartments for everything. Worked out perfect, and I felt like the coolest kid on the block.
Yeah this is bullshit... I had an AWESOME tote for my gameboy. Like Jutsu said was about the size of a football... and i was able to squirrel away about 12 games into that puppy provided i didn't use the dust covers (9 with them) & I STILL had room for everything else. That number only increased with the Introduction of the GBP & GBC. It was so fricken awesome I still had it up to this year... when i gave it to a friend so because they couldn't find one for their son & I no longer had need of it...
I had a black clothe case that was an official Nintendo product. It had a small slot for the Game Boy, a pocket with straps to hold up to six games without them moving around, and then a giant pocket on the back for more games, batteries, magnifying attachment, whatever you wanted. Most efficient carrying case I have ever owned for a handheld device, and it was for the Game Boy.
Okay. I write alot in this blog, BUT! I smell more BS.
I honestly could not find a pic of my own gameboy bag anywhere, but, allowe me!
Its a small black bag, half the size of a american football with two seperate rooms. One for youe gameboy, and one for 3 games, in the top of the gameboy lid, you have room for 4 AA batteries. The smart thing is, you could, not that you were suppose to but still, press 2 extra games down in the gameboy room, after some time, you would have stretched the bag itself enough so it wouldt be a issue of pushing. And ofc you never have to worry about scratching your gameboy, the thing is indestructible.
All of which are true, im currently sitting with the bag next to me, with a Original GameBoy, 4 batteries, 3 diffrent pokemon games, Super Mario and Kirbys DreamLand, all in a small bag you could take with you in the car or on the plane. AMAZING!
Also, its a original Nintendo container, so its not a cheap copy brand, or homemade.
As I've said before, don't take this seriously. If a reason sounds like BS, then it was probably meant to be BS. Do you honestly think they could come up with 12 legitimate reasons to hate the GameBoy? Don't think so.
Funny thing is, the 4 slots for the AA Batteries are too small, i can force them in, but i fear that it gonna break if i push them completly down. But in general, i would have run around with that thing as a kid sure as hell. Nowadays i just use my Notebook bag, offers more than enough space for the gameboy, a snack and drink and lots of games.
This section is kind of awkward. I need to write some interesting, but not bore you with my life story. Let's "get down to brass tacks", we all like video games. If you are down to play, feel free to hit me up online on any of my gaming networks. Oh and follow me on twitter for random musings. Besides that I guess the broad strokes include me being married, having an MBA, and owning a dog named Odie!

Bullshit. this is the one I have http://www.8-bitcentral.com/images/nintendo/gameBoy/case.jpg , and it works fine to this day for the new models and even ds and 3ds. And iirc the words GAME BOY glow in the dark.

The one that looks like a Game Boy is the best one far and away.
