I dunno...I love the Love/Hate stuff, but this one was kind of weak. It's an overused stereotype that gamers don't like to do anything else, like read or go outside.
You know, I've been wondering if there can't be a way to bridge the gap between paper and electronic books. What if you could seal an ebook code in a physical book, like in an envelope in the back, so that you could still read the book in the store, but then buy it and put it on your Kindle/iPad/etc. for free, without having to buy it once for each format.
In general, I find it irritating to see companies forcing their consumers to rebuy what they already have in a new format just to "keep up with the times" (i.e. the music industry). There has to be a reasonable way to provide backward compatibility for all media.
This section is kind of awkward. I need to write some interesting, but not bore you with my life story. Let's "get down to brass tacks", we all like video games. If you are down to play, feel free to hit me up online on any of my gaming networks. Oh and follow me on twitter for random musings. Besides that I guess the broad strokes include me being married, having an MBA, and owning a dog named Odie!

I figured that college books would have made the list.
Firerank9
At least books don't need no stinkin power to read.

Your Kindle isn't as sturdy as those books either. Allow me to demonstrate as beat it around with a steel bat before I run it over with a car...

Backwards compatability? HA! Good one.

I'm surprised "too many words" wasn't on the list. This is an (almost) honest list.

Why would you want to, you can don't need a kindle to use them?
darkhyrulelord
If that was possible, I could see lots of kids running around scanning books at libraries......actually that would be a VERY BAD idea.
beyondthestars
ha! That's funny
