That's why you keep books away from EVERYTHING. Unless they're school books, in which case, feel free to coat them in gasoline and throw a match on them.

With that said and done, I stained one of my books with blood. It's only a very small dot at the top of the page, and I couldn't even work out where the blood came from when it happened (I mean, I was lying in bed, and as far as I could tell, I had no cuts. Maybe it was a minor papercut or something), so I guess that was one unavoidable instance.

Reminds me of the time Junja loaned me "A feast for Crows" and I took it backpacking with me. I spilled bugspray on it, dropped it in the dirt multiple times, and left it out in the rain by accident. I offered to buy him a new copy but he actually seemed pleased with the way the book looked and said I didn't need to.

This is one I must agree on, there is not one book in my shelf that has not felt the scourge of my clumsiness :/

o yeah... i had that problem, whats worse is that their on FHM magazines >_< so people are like "oh god, dun make me touch that"
