How is this in the hate section and audiobooks are in the love section. This is a great teaching tool for really young kids.

I had this as a child. It actually helped me learn to read because english is my second language and I was always embarrased in 1st grade when i couldn't read.

No wonder so many kids suck at reading these days if they can't figure out words for themselves. Are these even real/traditional books though? I'm guessing in order for those pens to read like that, those pages have to be embedded with microchips or fibers of some sort. Unless the pens themselves have some sort of word recognition software in them.

These are what I like to call the "books for fuckheads". I have great English skills, and I know many others that do to (and surely many more that I don't know), and I myself, as well as others I know, never needed this crap to learn. Unless your child is retarded, I think these are a waste of money. Buy them junior novels, then step it up to a 500-page book once they're 8 years old, and they'll eventually figure the thing out. I mean, it worked for me.
