I learned so much from Reading Rainbow. My favorite episode was the Star Trek one.

Why am I thinking of Jimmy Fallon's cover of the Reading Rainbow theme? You know, the one where he plays as The Doors.

This show was one of my favorite during the Golden Age of kids TV. I can't thank Burton for doing this show for so long. To this day, I still sing the theme song. Permanently burned in my memory. It's fantastic!

I remember in elementary school, every time the teacher would turn on Reading Rainbow, the entire class would sing the theme song. I found it annoying back then, but today, I see that I was simply no fun.

My word, how do I still remember this from first or second grade?
