In my version, it was red.

My sister had a book with like 50 'true' ghost stories. Fucking read that thing every halloween as a kid. Should just stolen it from here since she lost it xD. Man so many classic stories like the Dog licking the girls dangling hand every night beside her bed, then she goes to the bathroom one night after the dog licked her dangling hand, and finds the dog dead in the bathtub with a note pinned to it "Humans can lick too"

Wow I didn`t know everyone also knew about this story O_o I read this from a book a long time ago back in Elementary school.

Holy shit I remember reading a children's book with a few scary stories and one of them was about a girl with a ribbon around her neck... *shudder* We all know how that ended...

That Story has been imprinted to my brain.. i barley remember much as a child, but this story i've never forgot for some reason..

Now its involves Vampires that sparkle or whatever Twilight was about.
