This is the worst thing that can happen.

It was quite annoying, though if you had the Varia Suit, you could jump in the lava and take down Ridley no problem.

It's the perfect opportunity to recreate the ending of terminator.

This is not the image I would want to see...think Norfair in the areas where there's this tall platforms and if you dunk inside it's an absolute PAIN to get out of them. You'll need bomb jumping and LOTS of luck if you wanna get out, and that's assuming you have enough health to continue forward.
