You know what's the difference between "you had to farm" and "you were allowed to farm"...?

Yeah, this is a pain...but damn it all, this just proves how tough Samus is. She doesn't haul E-tanks around like Mega Man, capture faeries in bottles like Link, or dig into walls for rotting pork chops that have been there for who knows how long like the Belmont family; if she needs a little pick-me-up, she's going to blast everything in sight to smithereens to get it.

Agreed. Such grinding is what turns me off to one game or another.

This to me is the worst of the lot. It definitely sucks the fun out of the game when you have to spend 15-20 minutes to get all of your health back if you die. If you started out with full health, it would have made the game twice as better for me.

Maybe we should be happy that killing space animals makes missiles and energy materialize from their corpses.

Anyone have a Samus ship so we can try it?

Clearly, they need to put regenerating health in Metroid. I mean, if a guy in Call of Duty can heal all by himself then why can't Samus with her fancy-pants suit?!

Thankfully this was corrected in future incarnations of the game
