After getting us all excited about finally seeing the game’s reveal trailer, Activision confirms that Destiny won’t be seeing a 2013 launch after the publisher sent out a press release that states Bungie’s latest game isn’t in Activison’s 2013 plans.

As reported by IGN, Density isn’t in Activision’s “2013 outlook” and that “There should be no speculation or expectation of a different result.” 

However, the report reassured fans that the game will still be arriving on the PS3 and Xbox 360, along with “other future platforms” Thus debunking the possibility of Destiny being a next gen launch title, as the expected timeframe for Sony and Microsoft’s future console’s is this upcoming holiday season. But then again, we don’t know for sure what Sony and Microsoft’s plans are.
