Activision takes the lid off the new game TMNT Out of the Shadows
Activision has officially announced the long rumored new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. It’s called TMNT Out of the Shadows and will be the first of three planned games. The announcement trailer gives us a glimpse of some gameplay of everyone's favorite group of fearsome fighting teens kicking some foot clan butt.
The new Turtles beat-em up promises a four player cooperative gameplay for digital download. You can pick up Out of the Shadows this summer on XBLA, PSN and PC. Hopefully this new TMNT game will help us to forget the travesty that was Re-Shelled and bring the turtles back to radical place they belong.

A slight improvement over TMNT Re-Shelled.
I don't mind the turtles haveing a dark tone to them since they were originaly like this in the 80's comics but I'd like less gritty.
There is just to many games with gritty style these days. It makes most games pretty boring.

I'm not sold on the character models or the overall art design, it's too gritty and gray, especially when you compare it to the cartoon they're basing it on.

I think they are basing it more on the comics. Those were, in fact, grey and gritty.

I want to get excited for a new Turtles game but I just can't seem to get over the weird and bland look of it all-WAIT the first of THREE planned games??? Kinda jumpin' the gun, aren't they?

i might be negative about it, but i have a feeling it will suck somewhere, we can go "f**k yeah!" and ... remembered TMNT Turtles in Time Reshelled, no matter how they show you, somewhere they will just make it suck. i hope they got me wrong with this one
