It looks as though your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will be making a Wii U appearance, as Activision announced that last year’s Amazing Spider-Man will finally be arriving on Nintendo’s latest console on March 5.
However, before Wii U owners start to complain about the lengthy wait, this version of the game will be bundled with 4 pieces of free on-disc DLC. Such content includes the Lizard Rampage Pack, Rhino Challenge, Oscorp Search and Destroy pack, Stan Lee Adventure Pack, and new suits for Spidey.
In Addition, the Wii U will be utilizing it’s GamePad feature to enhance the Amazing Spider Man’s gameplay by allowing the player to use the unique controller as an Oscorp OSPhone which acts as a cell phone letting the player select missions, view a map of the city, and keep track of Spider-Man’s upgrades. The GamePad will also let players switch from their TV to the GamePad’s screen.
So g1s what do you think? Is it about time Spider-Man paid the Wii U a visit? Or should he web-sling somewhere else? Let me know in the comments below!
