Animal Crossing is getting DLC... On the Wii?

The furniture set is called the Creepy Set and the first item is the free to download Creepy Carpet. A new piece is set out to be released every fortnight.
If you want your own Creepy Carpet, check out the list of instructions on Nintendo’s site below. It’s all pretty straightforward although I doubt anyone is actually still playing Animal Crossing on a regularly basis.
Is anyone going to do this?

All of my younger siblings play animal crossing, heck its the only reason they fight. usually starts and end with one of them deleting the town or all the save files. its hilarious.

..I wondered where the fuck the carpet came from. I got it in the mail, along with the creepy crystal? Of course. I JUST STARTED back playing this about two weeks ago. xD

Animal Crossing: City Folk has already received DLC in the past, many times.
At one point in time they were giving away exclusive furniture items monthly.

Yes it has but this is still a four year old game and the focus should surely be switched to animal crossing 3ds.
