Anonymous wants Zynga to “Remember, Remember the 5th of November”
Hackers can be quite the revolutionaries these days. Or at least they’re pretending to be. Anonymous is turning its sights on Zynga, the social gaming giant in an attempt to unshackle us from our canine oppressors. So the plan is this; on the 5th of November, Anonymous will release “the key to the data files” of confidential Zynga documents regarding executives. Secondly, if Zynga continues their plan to outsource the 5% of the workforce they laid off last week, then they will also release an undisclosed number of Zynga games for free that have been taken off their server. Here is Anonymous’ logic for this attack
If Zynga decides not to outsource the work force, then the games won’t be for free, but it looks like the executive documents are going to hit the net. This is bad news for Zynga, who’s share price has been plummeting since EA opened that lawsuit against them. Their fiscal report went over well, but consumer confidence is most likely waning. Who knows what gems will be found in those confidential documents. Oh and if you don’t know what I am talking about with the title quote, go watch V for Vendetta. Anyone feel bad for Zynga?

While I don't feel bad about Zynga, it's always been obvious that Anonymous just wants attention from the masses. I could care less about them and their crazy antics.

I'm not for or against both sides here, however I must say that people forget that Zenga was talking about closing at least two more of there production studio's pending approval so this 5% of there staff thing is only a start.

Well personally i think they got bored and looked for anything to start something new... their reasoning is pretty stupid, especially complaining about outsourcing, because what right do they have to deny those on the outsourced end to get some work.
