EA will be having what is called the Summer Showcase this week, but ahead of any incredible reveals they decided to finally announce the long rumored installment in the Army of Two franchise. It will be using DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine and to the surprise of many Visceral Games is the developer on the project. That is different from its predecessors who were developed by EA Montreal.

Titled “The Devil’s Cartel”, EA promises a "more intense, mature, and grittier tone" (What? No fist bumps?), as two operatives take on the Drug Cartel in Mexico. They have not confirmed if the original protagonists have returned, as this game is a reboot or sorts for the series, but they do assure us they will make use of “the ability to unleash the power of ultimate destruction”. Whatever that means… Expect more details leading up to the March 2013 release and you can check out the showcase here
