I know absolutely nothing about Seinfeld. I never even watched a full episode of the show. In fact, this whole Seinfeld themed title is just a cheap grab for more views. So why even bother with a cold open? Let's just get started.

Why is it that Frogger is a regular frog in some games, but an anthropomorphic frog in others?

Korahn: Frogger was just a little frog owned by a young boy named Johnny. Johnny loved that frog so much. One day, Johnny's older brother decided it would be fun to pick on his younger brother by playing keep away with Frogger. During the commotion, the little amphibian fell into the toilet and got flushed away.

Down in the sewers, Frogger searched for a way back to the surface. Unbeknownst to him, just a few meters away, a mutation of four turtles and a rat was occuring. Some of the same ooze that affected the turtles travelled down the sewer and came into contact with him.

Still determined to get back home to his beloved Johnny, Frogger began travelling across the busy streets of Manhattan. As his body further mutated, he became more and more human-like (hence why in some games he appears anthropomorphic), eventually to a point where you'd mistake him as a human completely.

So far, he has not been reunited with Johnny.

Why didn't Smithers just take the diamond out of Maggie's mouth?

Korahn: The old adage of "diamonds are a girl's best friend" applies here greatly. And if Maggie would shoot Mr Burns over a lollipop, who knows what she'd do if you took her diamond away. Plus, there was a super adhesive on the diamond that only degraded over time. If they tried to pull the diamond out, it may have ripped her head off.

Wouldn't Little Mac be in a boxing league of his own weight class?

Korahn: He is. The problem is that all of his opponents are using performance enhancing mushrooms provided to them by the referee. Mario was in deep with the mob, so he needs his bets to pay out against Little Mac.

Why does Superman need to fly through rings to defeat Lex Luthor?

Korahn: The same reason Sonic needs to collect rings before fighting Robotnik - They're addicted to them. Snowflame created the rings from a concentrated formula of cocaine and red kryptonite back in the late 70's. Such a powerful combination creates a form of dependancy on it. So, without these rings, neither Sonic nor Superman would have the drive to do anything.

How many Pokémon species are there?

Korahn: Only one - The species of Pokemon. Marill Scyther Nidoking Jr once said that he had a dream where all pokemon would not be judged by the powers they possess, but by the content of their character. I, for one, believe in these principles.

Of course, if you want to be scientific then that's about 649 known of so far.

Well, that was our show. Now if you excuse me, I have to keep kicking myself for not mentioning Festivus in the Christmas special. Good night and remember, we're always looking for expertise (or lack thereof).

That Seinfeld clip was priceless. Also, I think that Superman needed to fly through the rings because he was trapped in an alternate reality? Who knows. Regardless, great blog!

Lolz, I get the Martin Luther King reference, but didn't Mewtwo actually say that (paraphrased) in the movie?

Damn, Mewtwo would have been better to use than Marill. Admittedly, I'm not a big pokemon person and the last time I saw the movie was back in the 90's. Just browsed through my son's pokedex to find a name similar to Martin.
