Assassin’s Creed III may feature co-op and is coming to Wii U
While we don’t know what it all means, AssCreed III has landed on the Xbox Live Marketplace and is listing some rather interesting information. Apparently there will be some sort of co-op mode, as listed under the features was the listing "Online co-op 2 - 4". No word how that will specifically be achieved, but there is speculation that this could be a reality. Maybe this is because the listing has been removed on both the EU and NA marketplaces.
This rumor comes right behind the official trailer reveal yesterday alongside some other information. Like the fact that main character will be "of Native American and English heritage" and goes by the name Ratohnhaké:ton or Connor. I am going to go with Connor. The game is running in a new engine called Ubisoft-AnvilNext. And it will be coming to one more platform in addition to PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Wii U. Here is the trailer if you missed it.

Interested to see what Ubisoft does with the Wii U version in terms of the tablet. Probably only going to use it mainly as a menu screen.

Maybe it could be an Animus information screen or something seeing as 3 will feature a new Animus 3.0 or the weapon wheel for easy access to weapons mid battle

Well, by menus, I expected the map to be there too. I could totally imagine the map being displayed at the bottom on any Wii U games just as the HD Zelda had.
