Assassin's Creed 3 Tyranny of King Washington DLC dated

2/8/13 10:02am

It looks as though the Tyranny of King Washington DLC for Assassin’s Creed 3 finally has a release date. Ubisoft recently announced that this three-part add-on, in which US president George Washington declares himself king, will become available throughout the month of February.

The first installment titled “The Infamy” becomes available on February 19, which conveniently enough, comes right after US holiday, President’s Day, a celebration that honors George Washington. Then on March 19 the second entry titled “The Betrayal” becomes available, followed by the series’ last episode on April 23 called “The Redemption.”

If you have yet to purchase AC3’s $30 season’s pass, then all three entries will run gamers $10 a piece, and are releasing on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC.

In more Assassin’s Creed related news, Toy company McFarlane Toys and Ubisoft agreed on a deal which will see the release of a Assassin’s Creed toy line. The line’s first series will include the likes of 6’ versions of Assassin’s Creed 3 star, Connor, as well as Haytham Kenway.

Along with looking pretty darn cool, these figures will also grant customers with extra “exclusive” content for Assassin’s Creed 3 including additional outfits and weapons. Each figure will carry a price tag ranging anywhere from $15 to $17, and will hit store shelves sometime this summer.

What are your thoughts on this g1s? Will you be downloading Assassin’s Creed 3's latest piece on content? Or do you have no interest at all in purchasing the toys or DLC? Let me know in the comment section below!

Hm. I wonder what this DLC shall be like. Although, $30 sounds like a lot for a pass....

As a fan of the series I already have the season pass . Only $30 for all the dlc is a lot better than buying them individually . As for people thinking they are ripping people off I agree it is costly but the video game industry has to have some way of making money to invest into new projects.

I have a strong sense of pity for those who shell out $90 (or more) for one game. Mostly because the smart thing to do is to wait for GOTY type releases that sell for $15-30. Part of it is wealth jealousy, but I think I'd still spend that extra $70 or so on better car insurance or something. Wait, do rich people bother paying $3,000 a year on full coverage or do they just buy new ones like they were toilet paper?

I wonder if we get to kill any of the other Founding Fathers.

But I don't want to kill George Washington. He was a cool guy. In fact, he is the second coolest and strongest president.

This should be interesting. To be quite honest, I really have no idea how the hell this storyline is going to go. Sounds like something out of a Harry Turtledove book.

So just to tally everything up, $50 for the game (Steam) + $10 (Battle Hardened Pack) + $5 (The Hidden Secrets Pack) + $30 (Tyranny of Washington) = $95

Its a good thing I have a job. One day the poor will have nothing left to eat but the rich.
